I had ordered the pepper steak combo with crab rangoon. The food never disappoints let me say that. But one thing that is quite disappointing is when ordering for delivery and the driver comes to deliver the food, he asks if they will tip, now I usually do tip but I genuinely didn’t have the extra money for that. Even when I was ordering the lady over the phone was extremely nice saying she knew what it was like trying to save some extra coin when you don’t have it. Neither here nor there, when I told the driver no for a tip this time, I find out later when I wake up this morning he took it out of his will to add a $5 tip to his delivery. This is quite honestly fraud and stealing now at that point. I understand circumstances of having to drive but taking $5 when the customer said no is outrageous. I hope there is some action taken on his part because this is truthfully disgusting and disrespectful.. and I wonder how many times this has happened because it isn’t the first time he dropped food off and complained about a tip that he eventually received.. Good food, have to pay extra because a few blocks out of service area. I want to say every time I order they forget something. They never want to bring it back out and say we give credit for next time. Next time they don't remember. Even if it's a meal they will not bring it back out. China Hut offers fresh, quality Chinese food at a reasonable price. The staff is extremely friendly. There is one table with 2 chairs, but it is very small and more of a take-out or delivery place. I have been getting China Hut's food for over 10 years now and it is still my favorite. The white rice is soft and fluffy. The chicken fried rice is flavorful and the rangoons are a must -have item! The sweet and sour chicken has the sauce served separately, keeping the chicken crisp and golden brown. The sweet and sour sauce tastes great and has large peppers and pineapple pieces for flavoring.
