A truly wonderful experience & trip back in time! Reservations required, at arrival we sat at the spacus bar, and I was waved over by the hostess to check in. We had the best cosmopolitan crafted by one of the highly skilled mixologist behind the bar, We had to order another absolutely amazing! & artistically crafted! Next our waitress came over the way it was done in the day and in the day I mean a long time ago to guide us though the menu, get our choices of dressings, and let us cash out at the bar as not to stiff the skilled mixologists! And as I always enjoy having the starters on the runway at our table on arrival! Warm breads, bread sticks, butter, wonderful salad mix & home style dressings awaiting! A visit to our table by a owner brought memories back of first class service! Price's for the meals in par for the quality of the product! The Mrs had the seafood option shrimp scampi and it was spot on, I knocked it out of the Park with the high end house surf & turf! Two massive 1lb tails PERFECT, and a juicy done perfect bone in ribeye steak, the visit from the floor manager was nice to check on our table, our waitress was attentive,, and we had spectacular staff service from watering the table to clearing! In review I must say that having worked many years back at a restraunt that had employees from the original staff I can attest to the great service attitude and traditions also thrown in a classic Chicago style Steak house vibe with rattling stainless steel carts pushing out your dinner and mix in A Wisconsin super club with Christmas decorations up, red curtains, you will get a mix that holds true to Tradition! And that sadly is disappearing fast in the Milwaukee market! Finally being asked several times during the eaving if it was a special occasion that brought us I had to say no, it was just many year's ago my last visit, and looking around seeing birthday guests, young couples on date night? Anniversary dinners, I realize this Milwaukee icon is about tradition!

My fiance took me here recently for my first supper club experience. It looks like an old timey kind of club inside and out. One of those places known for their fancy food without looking overly fancy. We started with a drink at the bar - I did a pomegranate martini, and my fiance had an old fashioned. Both were great, and strong. Our server came up and explained how things go, told us the specials, and gave recommendations when I explained I was in between a few choices. We placed our orders and were taken to our table shortly after. The entire place is pretty dim-lit, like most steakhouses. There was a performer singing in the other room by the end of our stay. I ordered the surf and turf - lobster tail and filet. My fiance got the ribeye and French onion soup. We shared the crab Mac and cheese. Breadsticks, honey, salad, and a relish plate was complimentary. Our server suggested a mixture of their Greek dressing and ranch... Soooo good! The French onion was good, plenty of cheese and onions. The broth has great flavor. My favorite part was probably the crab Mac and cheese. It's delicious without being overly fishy as some can be. My fiance isn't big on seafood and he loved it. Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare. I am not big on charred steaks but these were not too heavy on the charred flavor. I had a drink on the specials menu - Grecian Delight. Wow, it was incredible! Very refreshing. Our server told us that they use herbs and ingredients from their own garden. This drink included some of those - fresh oregano and mint. I also got a tiramisu martini because we were too full to get dessert. It was the perfect substitution. Next time, I really want to save room for the cherries jubilee dessert! Sounds amazing. We definitely had take home boxes, considering we ordered a lot, and the servings are big. This is a great spot for a date night or special occasion. I can't wit to go back!

We treated our daughter on her 30th birthday to Five O’clock, it was her selection/her choice. The food was good, salad was the freshest I’ve ever had and possibly the most enjoyable salad I’ve consumed. Salad dressing was something to write home about! The valet fella that attempted to park my truck had a look about him that made me decide to park my truck on the street. After the dining experience was over we personally handed the waitress Nicole our billfold with the money enclosed. We exited the restaurant and began the walk toward our truck. All of a sudden we hear someone behind us shouting “excuse me sir!!” Turned around its waitress Nicole running toward us, “you did not give me the correct amount of money, it’s short, quite a bit short actually” she stated, with rudeness and disgust in her tone and facial expression. We stood there looking at each other like huh! What do you mean it’s short, we both counted the money ourselves, and included a $40 tip. Nicole proceeded to count through the bills in our presence. Nicole realized she was mistaken! It was accurate. Nicole had memorized the menu superbly and had her script all in order for the products being offered and sold, recommendations etc. The server flopped big time in my view on the money exchange part, that led to a preventable ordeal. Nicole counted 2 of the big face $100 bills as $20’s along with the other $20’s. 😳 This was not ok to be chased leaving a crowded restaurant with a crowd inside and out accused of dining and dashing so to speak. Perhaps our skin tone made us suspect. It initially felt that way when we first arrived, then subsided, but that ending took the cake…

In 10/11/24, I went to this steakhouse with my fiancée for his birthday. It was our first time at this restaurant. We came to the host booth and this young host was dismissive toward us. The host was a young woman and the vibe that we got from her was that she did not want to be there on that night. She told me and my fiancé just to go to the bar and someone will take us to our table. The bar was packed so we were confused on what to do and where to stand. Then there was an older woman host that came up to the young woman host and said that there is a table ready so the young host took us to a table instead. When she took us to our table she stated the server will be right with us put the menus on the table. She came back with some waters for us, but we asked for some lemons for our water. She never came back with the lemons at all. After this interaction with the young host, me and my fiancé were scared that the server would have the same attitude. A server named Annie came and was very communicative to us. She had a great attitude and attended to everything we needed. It was very joyous to us. We were glad to have her as our server. The steaks were one of the best steaks we both had in our entire lives. The steaks were tender and juicy, and the food service was very efficient. I told Annie that it was my fiancé’s birthday and she came with a small slice of Keylime pie for him. I will definitely come back to the steakhouse. I do believe, though that experience would’ve been even better if I had a host that had the same energy as our server.

To be honest I was hoping it wasn't going to be all that great....but....it was!. Stellar service by all teams, bartenders, wait staff, on floor Mgr, etc. They cared and it showed! Cleanliness was top notch! Personal protection was great! It still feels odd to be surrounded by walls of clear plastic but were getting used to it! I was surprised how many people were there, but it was actually so nice to hear the buzz of everyone enjoying themselves instead of dead silence at most restaurants lately. We came here to celebrate my honeys bday and they did not disappoint us at all! Amazing cold salad, relish trays, real butter and honey for fresh baguette bread and we tried the bacon sticks! Omg! Amazing! Now ...the steak...I enjoyed the filet.. no savored it actually! It was melt in your mouth perfect! The method of the 1800 degree searing process is so different. Hubby has the 32 oz porterhouse....he had to admit best steak he's ever had hands down! We complimented everyone, and finished off with a bday treat of their own made from scratch key lime pie....it was as if I was in Keywest again! The best ever! Great job to this group of people who truly went out of their way to make our evening extra special.. we can't say enough! Keep doing what you are doing....its working for you! Looking forward to our leftovers for morning steak and eggs already! Thanks again!
