Karina's Pizza — Restaurant in Milwaukee

Pizza was pizza, nothing remarkable but it got the job done.

1 star for customer service. I left clear instructions on my online order to call me, and go to the side door of the building upon arrival. Triple checked my information. The order seemed to be running late, so I waited outside for 10 minutes, as I was quoted 30-40 minutes. Nothing. I went upstairs and waited in the window of my upper, at which point I saw a man in the street yell something, and get into his car.

Fast forward to an hour since order- I call the restaurant to double check that everything went through, and the man who answered the phone was appalingly rude to me. He told me he went to my house 2 times, and knocked, and called me three times, and nobody came for their food. Considering I triple checked my information and I received no phone calls (I never miss calls in my apartment), and heard nothing at the side door to my unit, he clearly misread the information provided. Whatever.

But then, the delivery driver came and it was very clearly the man who was on the phone, and he proceeded to quite literally scold me. He said he had "seen me in the window" and he "asked if I had ordered food". My windows were closed, it's winter, and he didn't go to the right door, or call the correct phone number- I thought he was some random guy from the neighborhood. I didn't know what to say, so I said I was sorry (I wasn't, just shocked). He gave me my food and stormed away, and drove away faster than the interaction warranted. Last I checked delivery doesn't mean you stand in the middle of the street and yell at the customer through a closed window. As a lifelong restaurant employee I'm jarred by the treatment I received for what was that employee's error. It ruined my appetite.

You can only order through an app, you will be charged anywhere from $3-$10 depending the app you end up going with, I went through the slice app because got a coupon but still on top of my order & tip got charged $7 delivery fee. The food was really good, the only complaints I have are if you order the dinner which comes with a 2liter you don't get a choice of soda it's automatically a 2 liter of coke a cola. Also the wings container had a melted hole through the bottom, I'm guessing went right from the hot oil strait to the Styrofoam container without shaking the basket when taking out of the oil. Also wings didnt have flavor at all just breading with no seasonings (they really do have potential) also they were slightly burnt (left in oil too long) Minus that the pizza was great,fries were good, I would try again most definitely, it was new years so could have been a busy Night but still no excuse the food should always go out the same busy or not but I will try again to give...

Ok so I made a quick stop in for a pizza slice. When I went in I noticed they have my cryptonite, TACOS! Ordered three quick barbacoa tacos and I have to say I was super impressed. The tacos tortilla was perfectly cooked on the griddle with oil. Had a little crunch but not to much. The meat, the meat was spot on. It tasted like barbacoa my dad used to make! The meat was tender with just the right amount of grease to make you have to lick your lips to get that last little grease. The beef was full of flavor they way beef is to taste.
