Los Tuxtla Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Milwaukee

We were seated prior to another table. They were gvn their water, tableware and their order taken before my daughter and I were. A waiter finally came and asked what we wanted to eat..young man!!! We didn't get ice water, silverware napkins, chips and salsa...he eventually takes care of that. We order and get our pops..sodas or the cups tasted like clorox so we asked him to just take them off and we wld drink water. AND NO WE DIDN'T DRINK OR GET REFILLS ON THE SODA BC THEY TASTED LIKE CLOROX,SO A WAITRESS TOOK THEM BACK!!!! TY VERY MUCH. WE DIDN'T EAT ALL THE CHIPS BC WE WE WERE BEING CHARGED FOR SALSA...LOL. are still waiting on our food. No problem..we ask the waiter for some more salsa and he said there was a charge...EXCUSE ME...I've nvr been at a restaurant and they charge u for salsa while ur seated eating. Now mind u that the table who was taken ahead of.our table asked for chips and salsa and were not told they had to pay additional for chips and salsa. So, we didn't even wait for any more of a disappointment bc I always go to the taco truck on Appleton and now we go to the gas station on Appleton and Hampton ...amazing service and food. So, we left the restaurant and went to the taco fish and chips to get better service and ofc the food is delicious. AND YES, WE LEFT BC U HV POOR SERVICE AND NO OME WANTS TO DRINK A GLASS OF SODA THAT TASTES CLOROX. WHY WLD I OR.MY DAUGHTER DRINK THAT?? THEN U HV THE AUDACITY TO SAY WE DRANK THE DRINKS...CRAZY.LOL AND WE ATE ALL THE CHIPS, HUH? WE CLDNTGET SOME MORE SALSA?? STOP IT..UR.MAD AMD SO WAS I BC U HV TERRIBLE SERVICE. YES IK THAT THESE .2 ESTABLISHMENTS ARE OWNED BY SAME OWNER.LOL STILL SERVICEN FOOD STILL BETTERAT TACO FISH AND CHICKEN. BE AN OWNER AND CONDUCT YOURSELF BETTER. My family and friends from our daughter’s soccer team went to Los Tuxtla for lunch after a game a couple of weeks ago. We were pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. We were welcomed and attended to by our server, even as a large party that came in right at opening. All of the kids ate their entire meals, which says something! A lot of the adults enjoyed the breakfast burritos and we personally had the fajitas which were delicious! We will definitely be back! The perfect place to stop after a busy weekend day of sports...

Absolutely disappointed from the tortilla shells the salsa Verde and the ground up steak. We spent 65 dollars for a pick up order and this food is absolutely horrid. Nothing taste like authentic Mexican food. Paid 6 dollars for a bag of chips as well and they give you only a handful like those small bags of hot flaming chips we used to get as a kid. None of my kids or husband liked it. The steak doesn't taste like much but burnt up ground meat. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Highly disappointed. 0/10...
