I use to go to Nomads all the time. It was my go to bar. The last few times I went I had a negative interaction with a different bartender or worker. The first incident was back in January, I asked for a Spanish song, they would always play a large variety of music and when I went up to the DJ after waiting for a while he said something along the lines of 'I love being white'. Pretty surprised by this but whatever, I let it go and I went back about a week later. This time it's bar close and one of the bartenders tried charging my friend double ($50 instead of $25). When the bartender finally realized his mistake (he refused for a while) he just threw the bill at my friend without even a sign of an apology. I went again, thinking it was just bad luck. The third time I went, I went with a friend of mine (a black female). The bartender was really nice to me, no problems, while I was waiting for my friend to arrive. My friend arrives, it was not busy, but there were clients. When she tried and I mean tried asking for a drink he did not even look at her for at least 5-7 minutes. That might not seem like a lot, but it was in the afternoon with a couple of people there and when I sought him out he assisted me right away and immediately left the minute I was done with my order even though it was very clear she wanted to get a drink. He did not leave to go assist someone else, he just left. The last time I went, which was about 2 months ago, a female bartender served me, she must have remembered me from the second time because she took her sweet time to even approach me. This was in the afternoon on a slow day where there were only 4 older males all together that were not asking for drinks. This bartender was cutting lime and didn't stop until she felt like it to approach me. At least 5 minutes. I don't know what happened to this bar. I use to go to Nomads all the time. These new bartenders are horrible. It is such a shame, I would go to this place because of the bartenders and the atmosphere. I was going to go to Nomads for the World Cup but after all these experiences I opted out. I later found Nomads on the South side and watched a couple of games there. I really liked Nomads, I don't want anyone to get fired but whoever is in charge really needs to talk to there staff on how to treat customers because this happened over and over, way too many times for it to be a coincidence. Just a note, if you're wondering why I went back so many times, it's because I did enjoy the bar so much and I wanted to keep...

My favorite bartenders work and play here. I really appreciate how the accommodate to everyone walking in...Nomad brings the greatest soccer fans together for an early morning match (mostly premier league) and the scene is very lively. They (the bartenders) are all representatives of the best pillar of a community, and they bring professionalism and experience to the forefront of every opportunity they seize. I would describe them all as passionate and educated - they set a standard to the service industry because they are one big family of hard-working bad muthafkrs.... Out of all the bars I have ever visited Nomad is the safest, coziest, and most relaxing bar I have ever been too. The owners have developed a profitable business that every employee can benefit from. To be able to live, work, and play in the lower East side area is a blessing, and their excitement about the product is evident of that. 10 years from now, this will be recognized as one of America's best bars. Nomad is an amazing bar to start your drinking day or chill for an afternoon in the back patio. There's plenty of sunshine and beer at this bar, you won't be disappointed. Best bar...

As most bars on Brady, there will be tons of college kids on the weekends. Any other time though there are people of all ages watching soccer or other sports or just hanging out.

I am happily a regular here because it’s a very relaxed spot even when it’s packed with people. What I love most is all the outdoor seating they have. There’s an enclosed area between the bar and the coffee shop, and more seating out on the street. It’s a great area to watch a game or people watch on Brady. Even when it’s 20 degrees out they’re still serving at the outdoor area.

The service here is great too. From the bartenders to bouncers to the guy slinging burgers in the back. I have not yet had a negative experience here. Everyone is friendly and warm!

Last, their food is decent. I had a Nomad Burger from the shack towards the back and was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed the maple bacon jam which was a nice touch that didn’t overpower everything else! They do just enough with their burgers to make them special.

Nomad is always the first and last stop on a night out. I have nothing bad to say...

Great outdoor bar, patio, street deck & plenty of additional patio space on weekends (Thursdays - Sundays) as they take over about 30 yards of N. Warren St. adding tables with umbrellas & chairs all spread out to keep you 6 feet apart during this COVID-19 Virus era. (Face masks required while ordering at the bar.) Quick service, even during busy weekend Soccer games & late-night partying. Great prices with several Frozen Hard Slushy Cocktails. Ask for the "Growler" size Margarita or Red Bull Hard Slushy, best bargain around. Full line of craft taps, bottles & 16 oz tall boys! Ask for the Nomad's custom Craft Brewed 25th anniversary "414" limited edition beer in 12 & 16 oz cans. Don't wander far if you have a hankering for some great, fresh Pub Food. Everything from Tacos, Pub Burgers of every possible variety & booked to order! All toppings you could imagine are available. Plus, the usual grilled & fried fare. Food, drink, fun in the sun or dark of night...

Great beer selection, amazing bloodies (you’d think you’re at a pricy third ward spot), phenomenal staff. Milwaukee has a lot of soccer bars (and some are pretty good), but Nomad is hands down the best. Most of the fans that come here are incredible, but the people who work there are really what make it. My husband and I have gone every weekend (if not the additional weekday match) for years and it’s always an amazing time. Alicia is the absolute best! She always knows our order and somehow manages to keep everyone happy on a packed day. The Nomad has changed a lot over the last decade that I’ve been going (most of them good changes), but the thing that always keep us going are the people. Nomad is our slightly louder, more neon version of Cheers. Who doesn’t want that? Hope this place never changes.
