Swung by the Dogg Haus and left stuffed and smiling. The Chicago Dog was on point—classic snap, poppy bun, and the right hit of sport peppers. The Atlanta Dog brought that Southern combo of chili and slaw, hitting all the right comfort notes. But the real star? That Italian beef. Absolutely loaded—meat, melty cheese, spicy peppers—all dripping and juicy, just the way it should be. Honestly, it was wetter than my girl after a night at the races (don’t ask, just nod). Props to the guy behind the counter too—friendly, fast, and clearly knows how to build a beast of a sandwich. Only hiccup was the soda machine—it was light on syrup, so the drinks came out a bit watery. Still drinkable, but I wasn’t there for the Root Beer. Solid joint. Will return when I’m craving dogs done right and beef that bites back.

I paid for polishes but these are definitely just large hot dogs not even that large and was very cold and soggy when I receive them he said it took me 30 minutes Before I decided to eat them no I actually just parked my car to eat them and they were already cold when I got them I did want a refund but he said says he couldn’t because just because it does not look like a polish to me he could not refund them he just remade them I’m pregnant and I cannot eat these cold raw hotdogs very bad experience would not recommend anyone to eat here they don’t sell polishes just expensive hotdogs and raw When he remade them it took less than a minute to remake and I didn’t agree to leaving him a tip they steal your money this not even a sit down restaurant

I had the Chicago Dog, and it was definitely the real deal - a Vienna Beef Hot Dog with the fixings. The kitchen was also legit - it could've been straight out of a Chicago or New York Deli. The employee (maybe the owner) was extremely friendly and was a pleasure to talk to while I was ordering and waiting for my hot dog. I would give the service 6 stars if I could. It's a small walk-up counter service restaurant, with a small window ledge with 3 or 4 seats. There was no line when I visited, which was around 3pm on a weekday. They take credit cards. I took the bus here since it's right on Brady Street, across from Walgreens. I will definitely come back and try their other menu items.

Ah, Dogg Haus. Is the food actually good or are you zooted and it’s the only thing open? This place is kinda like someone you meet at a bar late at night and you’re wearing beer goggles: terrible decisions are made that you regret the next morning, but it’s hard to say no when it’s 2am and you’ve had 1 or 2 or 10 drinks.

What’s good? As a Chicago native the Chicago dogs aren’t bad and the corn dogs are good (when they have them which seems very rare). The menu has a big variety for everyone. I haven’t had the pleasure of trying everything but they satisfy any craving you’ll get late at night.

Considering the customers they have to deal with too, the service here was better than anticipated. They’re friendly and accommodating and very patient and I was expecting the opposite.

What’s bad? Well it always smells weird. Maybe it’s the building, maybe it’s the variety of interesting clientele that stumble in here, or a mix of just about anything else.

The food is just alright but that’s kind of expected here. The fries are oily and barely cooked. I felt like I got cheated when I ordered a Polish because it tasted and looked like a girthier hot dog.

Dogg Haus knows what they are and they lean into it. Is it amazing food? No. Will I continue to go here because I pity myself and like to make bad decisions after midnight?...

Very dissapointed... the first time we tried this place we were very unwelcomed walking into the door. The guy with the long girl pony tail was very rude and over bothered that we were customers and bringing in business... We asked him a few questions about the history of the restaurant for it was our first time eating here.. the guy was even more bothered that we would ask any questions at all and was all upset. Apparently his job at slapping hot dogs together was too much for him.. we came back the next day and yet again there was the girly guy with girl pony tail with the same ugly look on his face. After the last experience we will not be back..we loved the food but that employee of yours...YUCK..his attitudes disgusting...he should check himself. Also he should be wearing a hair net..I will let everyone know never...

We went here afyer a concert and there was wuite a few people.waiting so that made me feel like it must be good. WRONG! I had the Atl Dog My wife had an Italian beef. I took one bite and firstly the bun was soggy cajse the guy let the water from the hotdog soak into it. Second I immediately could tell the bread was moldy i didnt see any mold.but ckuld smell.and taste it. I spit it out and threw the dog away. My wife ate half her beef and was sick about 20 mins later and staued sick until the next evening. I have nothing bad to say about the kid working, he had about 20 orders and he was working alone getting the orders ouy pretty quickly he had his airpods in and was in the zone. But je shoukd know the buns are moldy mayne he doesnt care. In any case he was doing his job efficiently and i cant...
