Went there on a Wednesday after attending a beer event in Milwaukee so I only had two beers at Oscar's (they were Delicious). My wife and I took a look at the menu and were a little concerned the portions would be small based on the price (didn't eat at the event). Wow were we surprised, I realize the menu said 8oz (1/2lb) burgers, but it couldn't be the price was just too cheap. I had the Big O (rare) she had the Hongo (Medium Rare). Mine was juicy, spicy and well..... Very Good. She only finished half of her's because she was full but also assures me it was delicious. We both agreed after getting the bill they should raise their prices. We are from a rural area outside Milwaukee and I don't know of a better burger in our greater area especially at that price, even though some in surrounding towns make that claim (I usually eat burgers at home for that reason). The bar/building is old and well that is what it is, we are used to that kind of thing and I don't hold it against them. The staff that we dealt with were very friendly, in response to some other reviews, No, No one "Greeted" us. Again its a Bar sit down and they'll find you or stop at the bar I guess. We sat down and they came to help us. Anyway I was very pleased and I said to Myself "they deserve a great review" so there it was. Thanks Oscar's hope to stop next time we in the area and mention you to everyone headed in...
Read moreBeen getting to-go food from here for the past couple years now. First let me say, we will continue to eat here and this place can easily be a 5 star establishment in my eyes, but itâs become a 3 star for a couple of reasons. They recently have changed the buns on the burgers. The burgers are a great value and taste great. But these new buns really ruin the experience compared to the old buns. It feels like you are eating 3/4 bun and 1/4 meat/toppings. Secondly, every time I order I emphasize that I do not want a pickle spear. For those of us that hate pickles, fries soaked in pickle juice from the pickle spear they put on top of them are disgusting. And NOT ONCE have they remembered to not put a pickle spear in there. This isnât the server/bartenders fault either. I see it on the receipt, so itâs definitely the cooks missing this. Lastly, the past two times we have gotten food here, the amount of fries provided with the burgers have been lacking. Especially when someone like me wonât eat half of them because they are wet and taste like pickles. Now the positives: Always super friendly service, even when they are crazy busy. The pricing is great for what you get. They also have a nice selection of alcohol. In an area that doesnât always feel the safest, the inside is very...
Read moreIf youâre on the hunt for the ultimate cheeseburger experience, look no further than Oscar's Pub! My last visit solidifies that itâs one of the best places to satisfy your burger cravings.
From the moment you step into Oscar's, it feels both cozy and lively. The staff is attentive. The menu is packed with delicious options, but the star of the show is undeniably the cheeseburgers and the delicious handout fries with a secret sprinkle of something!
I sat at the bar. There is a ton of beer options! So many great options to go with the burger you order.
Let me tell you, the cheeseburgers at Oscar's are nothing short of legendary. Each burger is made with high-quality ingredients, cooked to order, I did medium, and bursting with flavor. The patties are juicy and tender, and the cheese was perfectly melted, if you prefer classic toppings or want to get adventurous with unique combinations, they got you!
The buns are fresh and toasted perfectly.
Whether youâre a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by Oscar's Pub. The delicious cheeseburgers and friendly atmosphere will have you coming back for more! I canât recommend this place enoughâdefinitely a must-visit for any...
