I have been occasionally visiting this restaurant for a year or so. The place is going down the hill - poor management. The employees do not (or refuse to) speak English. This is really least of the problem. The cleaning standards: I "offended" a server when I politely suggested that my table should be wiped - with visible food leftovers (mess) on the table from party before me. As a "punishment" they let me wait some 30 minutes for my meal during that visit. That was after I had to wait 15 minutes just to order the meal. They will not hesitate to serve you old, stale food. Today the server brought my meal within 2 minutes. It was not fresh. The enchiladas were cold, different type I asked for, about half size they normally are. When I pointed it out, she just smiled and said "sorry". They will not hesitate to attempt to steal your money - by overcharging you. Today I was supposed to pay $14.26 (taxes included). Instead they issued a bill for $17.46. Beware. They are trying to steal from you - with smirky smile. 5.They will let you wait and serve other guests who came long after you. It is not a welcoming place ....... If you raise a concern, there is no interest to correct things.
Summary: The service is poor on average. You are on the mercy of the server: no standards, no professionalism. Disrespectful, unfriendly, trying to cut corners on every little detail, lack of standards, cheating on the food, trying to overcharge. The employees have no pride in their work. It is sad - this could be a nice place to bring family or group of friends, colleagues from work. The bold and deliberate, consistent mistreatment turned...
Read moreI ordered a steak tostada and the crispy taco dinner. The tostada, literally had sour cream on one bite. There was four tiny tomatoes on the top, it was loaded with lettuce but not much steak. The avocado was one small slice and that's it. Very different from other Mexican restaurants I've been to. Very disappointing. The crispy taco dinner, other Mexican restaurants that I've been to and I've been to a lot, deep fried the tortilla, this was just a crunchy taco shell, which makes me believe they order these crunchy tacos they do not make them crunchy themselves. Again very disappointing. They gave me two limes but they were so dried up I couldn't use them on my tacos. That was disappointing because the tacos himself were so very dry that it made it very hard to eat. Again lots of cilantro very little onion very little steak. I spent $20 and I took two bites of the tostada and one bite of a taco and the rest went in the garbage. The rice and beans were flavorless almost like it came out of a can and a box. I do reviews like this at multiple different kinds of restaurants and I will say this Mexican restaurant is one of the worst I've ever been to. This is just a review on Google my reach goes so much further than this. It's sad because I was hoping that this place would be good. The inside of the restaurant is very appealing. I'm very disappointed that $20 went in the garbage can but the tacos were so dry they were impossible to eat. I have done reviews on Mexican restaurants from Chicago to Madison and this place I have to say tops in the five worst Mexican restaurants I've...

The interior is very cute and colorful and gives off a bright welcoming feeling, the place was very clean. The staff was great as well.
Now for the food, excuse me as I reminisce for a second..... Yeah, it was that good. Now everyone knows at these Mexican spots you get the standard tortilla chips with sauce, and here was no different. I got a nice sized bowl of tortilla chips (not pictured, my sorry 😔) with 3 different kinds of sauce: 1. Salsa 2. Some kind of Verde sauce. 3. A spicy hot sauce. The chips were lightly seasoned so they were ight.
Now to the main course. I got 3 ground beef tacos and a beef burrito with rice and beans, (cause I knew nothing but Taco Bell My whole life). But this was AMAZING, so I order my food and it arrived quick, like Lighting McQueen Cha-chow quick. Everything was nice and hot, (I burned myself 3-4 times tops), and the ground beef was JUICY. Both the taco and burrito was filled to the brim with meat. the portions were very large for the price point and the presentation wasn't even that bad.
Sadly I didn't get any dessert, I didn't see any on the menu plus I was so satisfied I didn't even care afterward. And get this, everything I got came to about $20, I paid around $19 and some change but that was cheap as hell for a filling meal. If you're in the mood for Mexican and you're around the area give this place a shot you will not regret...
