I've lived in Milwaukee most of my life and I've been to this location many times in my life, but the last few time over like 3 or 4 months have been terrible experiences. The last one sealed the deal for me; I will NEVER give this place my business again. The staff is lazy and rude, including the manager that was there. 3 other customers and myself waited literally half an hour for our orders. No orders we being filled. Then the manager shows up outta nowhere and they serve the 2 people that ordered after me. I was the 2nd order. They took 2 more orders with me and the guy who ordered before me standing literally in their faces. Then before the next person could order I politely asked the manager why they had gotten their food and me and this guy ordered before them. In a rude tone the cashier says, how actually the guy who ordered before me had came and ordered again which was true, but also irrelevant seeing as he still ordered before me and the 2 people after us had gotten their orders. The manager cuts me off then tries to tell me what I ordered when I have my receipt. I only ordered a $5 biggie bag and small frostie. The other guy only ordered baconator fries. The other guy thanked ME for speaking up because he was confused and scared to say anything to them about it. When you make a customer feel that was it's sad and terrible business being done. I didn't become rude but I did let it be known to the manager and cashier that I wasn't the person to go there with. When I got my order I took politely took it then I let the long line of new customers know the situation and told them that they should go somewhere else because they would probably be waiting for a while here. And the order on my receipt was wrong but I had already let that go because they were so slow and my daughter was hungry and very irritable from being in the car for so long. I ordered a small frostie and the girl went and made a whole sundae. Long story short their service was terrible and after that long wait the food still wasnt fresh. Before the manager returned from who knows where, I saw one of the employees come up by the counter and speak into her headset calling the manager. She said,"Mr. (Don't remember the name), who's supposed to be working fries?" I sat there in disbelief like I know the kitchen has to be filthy because obviously nobody wants to work. I saw 2 employees literally just sitting at tables doing nothing, but I assume they were supposed to be cleaning seeing as one had a broom and the other a mop bucket. There was a deal on the app for a free baconator with $20 purchase. We ordered a Medium Dave's Single combo, a 10 piece nugget combo, a small orange dreamsicle frosty, and a medium chocolate frosty along with the free baconator. We received a baconator with NO bacon, just meat and mayo. The Dave's Single had no lettuce, no pickles, no cheese, no mustard which I asked to add, no tomato, and only had the meat, mayo, and onions. We didn't receive the orange frosty, the chocolate frosty was a small and not a medium. We didn't get the sauces for the nuggets. The fries were stale, the burgers were overcooked, falling apart dry. The only good aspect of the meals were the sodas we got, and the nuggets themselves were ok. It was honestly the worst fast food order I've ever eaten from a large fast food chain, let alone the worst Wendy's experience I've ever had in my life. I don't write reviews on Google hardly ever but I felt compelled to address the quality of what I received from this North Ave location. Whoever worked there at the time needs a serious evaluation check, because the work ethic and effort put into the food we ate that day was pitiful, and if the workers who prepared this food received what we got had they ordered it they would have been as pissed off as we were. Read moreDrive thru took over twenty minutes. It has had a wait this long everytime I have visited this location. I have visited before and waited ten minutes and not one car moved forward so I left. This is the first time I waited. I ordered my burger with extra onions. I received no onions at all. The bun wasn't moist and fell apart in pieces. The fries were hot. The service at the window was friendly. All of the above visits where at night between 7pm and midnight. Update. Went through the drive thru twice on two separate days during lunch rush. They were super fast and the food was hot and fresh and just as I ordered it on both occasions. One trip I forgot to order an item and had to add it at the window. The young lady was super nice about it. I don't know why night shift is having problems but day shift definitely has it together. Update revisited on a Saturday night around 1:30am. Took about twenty minutes from the speaker where we placed our order to the window. They didn't put our honey mustard in the bag so check all that over before you pull off from the window. On this night there was a drunk guy walking up to drive thru window and stopped beside our car to relieve himself.
