My wife and I just got married a few weeks ago. We hired Greek Gods Gyro as are caterer. Their food is always astounding and we knew our guests would be happy. Of course when planning a wedding, you have to expect a few curveballs, this included rain soon after our ceremony. Our itinerary was thrown off and dinner was delayed. Abe was a total lifesaver. He became our one man army, shuttling food 200 yards away from our reception, all by himself, and drenched in rain.
Once the rain stopped, everyone got to enjoy the food. Our number #1 most received compliment at our wedding was how incredible the food was (especially the lamb and baba ganoush) To say we were satisfied is an understatement; we were entirely grateful and fortunate to have Greek Gods Gyro as our caterer. We cannot recommend them enough, to anyone considering caterers, look no further. Certainly their food cart is a must visit, must try, but as a caterer, you will be hard-pressed to find anyone better or as hardworking as...
Read moreFirst time there, so I have yet to try some of the other dishes, yet the lamb gyro that I had was surprisingly good! The lamb was seasoned really well. I don't get why people are saying it's not real lamb it is. I got it because that's what people complain about and was happy I got it. The whole gyro together was a mouth watering feeling I'd return too.
Fries were good fries. But they were fries. Yet I just tried the fries alone, I do think I'm not doing the place justice by not trying their Greek frys which I will be in the future. But normally you can taste the fryer the most by just ordering plane fries and I could tell the fryer is taken care of.
Overall service was really nice. The lady working there was very kind and communicative. Non forceful of conversation and responsive to one which is a good skill to have. Anywho, I will be back and do recommend you guys going. Great place for a after work food that'll actually fill you up! Maybe get a fork and say yes to...
Read moreI am really bummed about giving such a low rating during this time. We have been trying out new places all over to help local businesses....maybe the food taste and quality was due to the times we are in. :-( The chicken gyros we ordered were greasy and awful. Whatever sauce was on there had zero flavor, the chicken chunks while tender were drilling with grease. It was so bad I actually threw mine away after a few bites. My daughter ate a bit more but ended up doing the same. We also ordered hummus. There was no problem on flavor here...if you like eating straight up raw garlic you will love their hummus! While I truly LOVE garlic...this one was of control. :-( I think the most disappointing thing is their hummus costs $8 for a container...and literally there was probably a 4 tablespoons of hummus in the plastic container. Based on all the reviews I hope we caught them on a bad night during a crazy time in...
