She walked us through the basics of different stitches, cutting out patterns, installing zippers, putting in darts, and then finally making our skirts. I stumbled across it when I needed a strip of elastic to fix a pair of pants I bought at the Goodwill- they sold me that and said that the first 15 minutes of using their equipment was free so I inserted the elastic and sewed in in place on the spot.
