The chicken was dry, and over cooked. The wings were extremely TINY which I think is odd.
Customerservice: I understand the call volume can be high, and staff are working hard to get the food ready, etc. But I'm always rushed when I call in my order and feel I might be denied service if I ask for details about menu items. But yet when I arrive I see the total opposite; front end staff are never running around like I envisioned. In fact They're relaxed and hardly any movement.
Delivery order: I Politely requested fries fresh up, in hopes they'd be hot upon arrival because the were cold upon arrival on the last delivery order. I was told the fries are always hot. I respectfully explained that my fries were cold the prior time and I was hung up on and I was placed on the do not deliver list! Another time, the driver parked across the busy street from my home and insisted on me coming to his car to receive my order.it was very cold outside.
Basically I feel its a hit or miss experience on the entire ordeal from beginning to end. I feel they're missing the mark on Customer Service phone etiquette. The chicken is horrible. I'm better off going the extra mile on a day I want comfort food by frying chicken at home, or go to Hooks or some other joint.
There would definitely have to be an urgent situation going on, and no other option for me to do...

I ordered the cheese curds and catfish nuggets to be delivered via DoorDash. After I received my food, I noticed that I received cheese STICKS and the catfish nuggets.
Thinking they had messed up, I looked at the receipt and noticed it said cheese sticks, too. Thinking that maybe I had pressed the wrong button, I checked the app: it turns out that they were out of cheese curds and substituted them for cheese sticks instead (note that you can mark that in the app on the business end, so the guest doesn't accidentally order an item you're out of).
Okay, that's fine, sometimes you run out of stuff and it doesn't get marked; my issue is that I never received a call or message? I didn't want cheese sticks; I didn't like their cheese sticks. If they had called me, I would have requested hush puppies or a refund instead.
Clearly they know how to use DoorDash on their end, because they did a substitution through their app.
If you're out of something, then you should call the customer; you don't just give them what you want to give them.

A man asked me for my address and he explained I did not order from them because my address was not pulling up. I told him I had a order number and the money was taken out of my bank account. He would not listen and was rude and continued to insist I did not order from A &J even though I explained A&J withdrew money out my bank account. . I asked him to speak to the manager and he claimed he was the manager.. I could not understand why he was being so rude. I am the one who was out of 60 dollars Then nonchalantly he says I updated my computer and i see you ordered from us. Keep in mind i was on the phone with him for 10 minutes listening to him call me a liar. I asked him does the owner know he treats the customers like he does. "HE LAUGHED AND SAID I AM HIS COUSIN". I canceled my order and asked for a refund.. becareful this was a crazy experience and that guy was beyond rude. In that moment I thought this guy is trying to steal my money. People make sure you complain on businesses like this. They are in our neighborhood and we keep them in business. I have not received my money back yet but he said it could take a few days.
