Pollo Movil Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Minneapolis

This place is absolutely horrible. The only good reviews they have are from throwaway accounts the owner makes that only have one review on their profile and no other history.

It only takes a minute to create a Google profile and give yourself five stars.

The only other people who review this place well are bot accounts that have countless reviews all over the place, almost none of them are legitimate.

The food is unhygienic and disgusting. Our chicken burritos were just grisly pieces of untrimmed and low quality meat that was sparse in quantity and almost entirely rice. It wasn't worth at all what we paid and we felt robbed.

I have worked as a professional cook for over 10 years of my life and can spot all of the little things that make food good or bad, this place checked all of the boxes of horrible quality.

Also, if you look at any reviews people post criticizing the food or the restaurant the owner just responds like a child. They need to grow up.

Not necessarily easy to find the place also they have an outdoor walk up window which was open and the woman kept telling me to go next door when I told her the actual address in the name of the place I wanted to be was that place I'm not 100%, if it was the language barrier between us two but eventually I had to go inside the building after going to the spot she told me to, come to find out that wasn't the actual place even though where I was talking to her was the actual order window I went to the pickup window nothing happened I went to the next restaurant nothing happened had to go on into the building around to the other side then found an actual window where I can order the food. food was good nicely price understandably priced but the pop was WAY too much I would consider price gouging at $2 for a can of pop.... Made an order on Friday for 40 pieces of chicken. Paid the same day and my pick up was for Sunday at 2pm. I arrived after 2pm and was told they couldn't find my order. After they looked through receipts they found my order and said it would take about an hour for them to make my order since they had no idea this order existed. I had a party at 3pm and people waiting on the chicken to start eating. So I ended up asking to get a refund and buy something else for my guests to eat. I would not recommend for anyone wanting a large catering order for a party. I thought paying ahead would avoid any of this but I guess not.
