This place is of niccolet and 22nd I think Southside of Minneapolis when you walk from the front entrance on the street you go from a ghetto like street area because of the over abundance of mtc bus stops and little overpriced convenient stores attracting more riff raff then needed in that area plus it's not far off Franklyn Ave but none the less you transform into this ristorante full of great pics and atmosphere that you'll forget where you just came through and relax a calm comes over you the good smell of hand made Italian treats sold a lot by the slice good staff ready on the spot for your order for there or to go .. I remember the slice of New York downtown years ago we d go there after a rock show that had run late but this is better to sit down and take a date to have a slice enjoying the artwork on the walls as you consume there slice of artwork new York style foldable slices with an ibc rootbeer sitting and looking at all of it taking it all in ..well Jan and Jim q public and google maps reporting to you as local guide and reviewer im the manthatmotos .and like I said take a date her guys show ing her a little Southside danger but more culture and coolness and you couldn't go wrong at this Best place to go while in the city Thank you to you all off like a flash burning 4 towards that next door of opportunity to report to you friends goodnight be safe see ya !!!!

ATTENTION ALL EAST COASTERS (AND MIDWESTERNERS + OTHERS WHO LIKE GOOD NY STYLE PIZZA) THIS IS HIGHLY IMPORTANT TO READ

So after living in Twin cities for almost 2 years now I have my constant cravings for good pizza. I am from Rhode Island, and we have great standard NY style pizza there. My girlfriend apparently was sick and tired of hearing me b$%ch about all the disgusting thick crust, barely any sauce, horrible tasting local pizza from out here…. as a matter of fact, I was always scared to try anything after my experience with Savoy’s. So my girlfriend Google searches NY pizza and found out about this place. I was very skeptical about trying out pizza from a place titled “NY style pizza”, back home this is the place you would actually avoid because it is just weird for a pizza shop to title itself “NY style” don’t ask, it just the way it is. I took the risk and went to try this place out. THIS PLACE IS THE BOMB! Don’t come here and expect great customer service, or a fine dining experience, these people are here to simply make your pie delicious and call it a day. And yes I call it a pie, apparently Midwesterners have hard time understanding the fact that we call pizza a pie. So we get our pie, we only get cheese, no toppings, not needed in this case if you truly like NY style pizza. This is really really close, def not 100%, but damn near it, 90%. This is as good as it gets out here for this type of pizza. Thinner semi-crunchy crust, good balance of sweet/savory sauce-to-cheese ratio. As a matter of fact, my girlfriend couldn’t even wait for the pie to cool down before she picked up a slice and put it in her mouth, haha get it. So She friggan burns the roof of her mouth, but that didn’t stop her and keeps munching, she says to me “okay, you have converted me!!!” p.s. she’s a Wisconsinite, yea tell me about it. The medium sized cheese pie, $9.99 and two canned sodas totaling $12.40, not bad at all. COME HERE ALL MY FELLOW EAST COAST EXPATS, THIS IS THE ANSWER YOU HAVE BEEN...

How can I give a "1" to perhaps to best pizza joint in Minneapolis, where the employees and the customer service they offer deserves a "5"?

Simply....with the exception of the employees wearing masks, there is no visable mask policy. Unmasked customers wander around this small shop while awating for their takeout orders. It is a coronavirus human cesspool.

Where is one required to wear a mask in Minneapolis? Effective May 26, 2020, people over the age of 2 will be required to wear a mask or cloth face covering in indoor spaces of public accommodation under Mayor Frey's executive regulation. ... Employees at bars and restaurants are required to wear masks.

Effective July 25, 2020, the the governor of the State of Minnesota has dictated an across the State mask requirement.

The owner(s) of Sice of New York failure to post or enforce the mask policy demonstates a total disregard for the safety of his staff and customers.

I won't...
