Beckett’s — Restaurant in Minneapolis

My little cousin took me to one of his favorite spots in the city, he is into happy hours these days and he was raving about these buckets that Becketts have during happy hour so we went to go check it out. Becketts is a decent size, they have indoor and outdoor seating, they have patio and rooftop options. Really dark inside, I wasn't a fan of the lighting so we took our food and drinks upstairs to the rooftop. The weather was amazing so it was a good decision on our part. They have a hybrid system going on here, and what I mean by that is we ordered our drinks with the bartender and we had to order our food online. I can see how this can be convenient for the establishment and efficient as a customer. I wish I remembered the bartender's name but she was very nice, didn't really give any suggestions when I asked for some but the experience overall was pleasant. The menu is incredibly simple so we made our orders pretty quickly. The food was surprisingly good, like sneaky good. I did not expect much from a local bar but the food was delicious. We had Korean BBQ wings and a smash burger. I have no clue what was in that smash burger but it is a must have, the wings were actually fire too. Smash burger was definitely the highlight, and as far as the buckets I had the John Daly. The allure of the bucket is cool, but there's a pinch of liquor in there. It is just juice. This is a perfect place to watch sports, enjoy an affordable delicious beverage, and chow on tasty bar classics.

The Beckett's buckets are so much better than other such large format drinks. These are real cocktails with real ingredients that make for an enjoyable experience. The bucket is a fun twist on large drinks and was most delectable. I tried the Kirby Bucket and found the flavor to be down right tasty and not overly boozy.

Beckett's has this amazing throwback vibe too, with a fantastic selection of music and the decor is a mesmerizing mix of sports team pennets and flags.

We were looking for a sports bar to watch some baseball and came across this on the map. It's definitely a dive bar, but a neat one. They normally offer food options but the kitchen help didnt show up so unfortunately there was no food. Also, they werent able to get the game we were looking for so that was a bummer.
