I want to give 5 starts because the food is seriously so good. The chicken is juicy and always comes out hot and fresh. They give you a number with your order, but both times I’ve gone, they brought the food to the table which is a nice touch. The seasoning is fantastic and the “Mild” has a decent amount of kick. Get “none” if you don’t like spice. The fries are crispy and seasoned nicely as well. The one thing I’ll say about the chicken sandwiches is that the bread to chicken ratio is a little off. The chicken hangs out the sides of the sandwich but then there’s a good 4 bites on each side where it’s just bread. It would make more sense to use a hoagie or hot dog type bun where there’s bread and chicken in every bite. Apart from that, the food is delicious and also reasonably priced and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
There’s a few easy fixes that would make this place a 5/5. First, the amount of sauce given is not enough for the fries and the chicken, and there’s no ketchup self serve station like there would be at other similar establishments. As far as I can tell at the moment, they one have bottled soda— though I do see the fountains behind the bar so I think that will change eventually. Speaking of the bar, this establishment looks purpose built to serve alcohol and they even have TVs to show whatever game is on that day, I would 100% come here on game day if they took better advantage of their setup. There are also no napkins at the tables or at the bars. This is the easiest fix ever, but very necessary as this chicken is well seasoned and your hands WILL be messy. There’s also no cutlery out. These are minor inconveniences now, as it usually isn’t too busy and you can ask one of the employees, but I could see it becoming a real pain if business starts picking up.
I am really rooting for this place because, like I said, the food is fantastic. Hoping they make a few updates to the establishment, and then I will happily update my review...
Read moreFood is amazing but I couldn’t give my review a 5/5 because there’s a few easy things they need to fix. First off, you get one small side of sauce and then you have to pay for more. It’s not enough sauce imo. I think they should have a free condiment station. Second, the sandwich is a chicken tender in a burger bun, but logically it should really be in a hot dog bun. I’ve gotten the sliders once and now I just got the sandwich, but the sandwich is about 5 bites of just burger bun and no chicken. Just switch the burger bun for a hot dog bun and then you get bun&chicken in every bite. Third, the bathroom wasn’t in working order so that just sucked since I couldn’t wash my hands to eat. Fourth, there’s no napkins anywhere and none come with your meal so you have to ask for them. Just have napkin dispensers out. Fifth, there’s no free water. You have to buy bottled water (or pop) if you want a drink. I just brought my own water bottle in since now I know there’s no free water there. Lastly, there’s so much potential with how big the place is, but it really feels like a lot of wasted space. There’s tons of seating but no one in the restaurant even though the food is really good. They also have the outdoor sidewalk space for seating but it’s not being utilized. I know it’s not as easy as it sounds, but serving alcohol and having this place be more of a bar vibe would really help. The tv’s around the place make it perfect for the sports bar vibe, but they’re not utilizing what they have. Overall amazing food, great chicken, great flavor, really good fries, but I just can’t give it 5/5 with those easy...
Read moreWas definitely shocked to see that Famous Dave’s was no longer here however, these guys didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was really nice and cozy, the service was friendly and welcoming, and the food was something. When I say these guys bring Nashville Hot to Minneapolis I mean it. I purchased the Sliders N A Tender ( love the word play on the menu items ) I requested my sliders to be Mild and my tender to be Blazin. The Mild seasoning on the sliders was a little sweet and had a small kick to it, it’s perfect if you want to experience the Nashville Flavors but don’t have a high spice tolerance. The Blazin was a surprise to me. I would say my spice tolerance is decent, however this was more than just a tingle It packed a punch ! The Ez sauce helped cool down the kick from everything and balanced out the meal. Bought a fountain drink on the side with my meal and they were really generous with the refills. Will be coming back for me soon yall 🙏🏽 (They did inform me that they have parking available downstairs for patrons, just ask the guys for the code and you...
