Cedar Food & Grill — Restaurant in Minneapolis

I see a lot of fake reviews here on google so i'm going to set the stories straight on this Cedar Food & Grill. this store is not only so grossly overpriced This store has had multiple complaints of price gouging during the Covid pandemic but nothing was ever done and to this day they're still raising prices. On top of that if you're not watching your money & quick with the math they'll rip you off at the register. especially the deli man who will over charge every time and play off like it a was mistake when called out. He'll even ring it up again like he fixes it but just rips you off a little less hoping you don't notice. DO NOT USE THIS STORE! There is no love or respect for the community around them. They don't see costumers, they see easy marks with no other store around. Again, DO NOT USE THIS STORE! Response to owner's response: I would like to take your reply as genuine but I'm sorry I find your reasoning doubtful seeing there are stores around the Minneapolis and the greater Twin Cities area who DO NOT charge their customers such high prices. Nor does the current market support your reasoning for those prices. As a community member who was key during the riots that kept your store intact I felt a great deal of shame when in the end we realized you used us so you could keep ripping people off. I have also been here more than twenty years so I know the ownership has changed hands during that time as well as the price hikes. Hopefully you'll reconsider your outrageous prices in the future but I'm not holding my breath. I'm currently working with city housing associations and representatives to find other legal options, if any, since this is the common reply to all the complaints towards this store. I want to start out by saying this place is very good and convenient. I normally stop by after work at least 3 to 4 times a week. It's super awesome because they have everything from groceries, everyday supplies, and the best in and out kitchen in town! I always get the Double Bacon Cheeseburger. The Cook and I always talk, and he is a really nice guys. He always knows my order when I walk in. I read one post on here where one guys was putting down this store, and he said these reviews are fake. I'm not fake, and I'm posting when nobody asked me. I don't know anyone in this store. I just go there because I live a few blocks up and I like the staff. Sure Cub Food and Target are gonna be cheaper, but what do you expect? So i Had a grown man yelling at and trying to break the door down on my pregnant wife at this place. The bathroom door was not in any form made obviously out of order or only for staff, in fact had the fully intact bathroom sign we've all seen on public restroom doors. I took a quick look a nobody was in it, there was hand soap and it was not a site of obvious remodeling.
