Before I tell you this story, keep in mind that this was the 2nd time I had ordered a veggie pizza with NO cheese and instead was given pizzas with cheese 2 weeks in a row from the same Dominos. These were carry out orders. The 1st time they had put feta cheese on it, when I called to complain they offered to redo it and I went back to pick it up. The next week, I had a horrific experience. I am vegan, along with my kids. We ordered a veggie pizza with NO CHEESE. The staff repeated the order back stating veggie no cheese. I thought everything was great, until I got home and opened the box and saw CHEESE on the pizza! This time it was feta and provolone. After a long day as a nurse, I felt frustrated since this was 2nd time in a row that this had happened! I called expecting them to make it right. What happened next, was the worst customer experience of my life. I explained what happened, that this was 2nd time in 2 weeks and that I want a veggie with NO CHEESE delivered! Instead of , "I'm sorry for the mistake, we'll make you a new one and deliver it to you." I was questioned, "Did you say specifically no cheese absolutely?!" I said, "what do you mean, doesn't NO CHEESE mean NO CHEESE of any kind?! I was told that because the veggie comes with feta and provolone, saying no cheese just means no pizza cheese, so you have to specifically say no pizza , feta or provolone cheese. Then he said, hold on, and I'll find out how you ordered it. He confirmed with staff that I had said "no cheese" and because I didn't specify the types of cheese that it was just a misunderstanding. I said well since this is the 2nd time this has happened I would like it delivered, and he said no. I asked him how I was supposed to know that this pizza comes with 3 cheeses when I am ordering on the phone and not looking at a menu. I also suggested that it would be a good idea to train staff to ask if no cheese means just pizza cheese or feta and provolone as well. To that, he said that customers should know what they are ordering. At this point I was extremely upset and let the F bomb fly out while stating , How the F&%$# do I order this so this doesn't happen again?#% This is BS! Then my son got on the phone and again, the manager explained that we were ordering it wrong and that NO CHEESE doesn't mean no cheese on a veggie because it comes with feta and provolone?! My son was calm and again requested delivery, the staff said that that's impossible because they track mileage and there would be no way to get reimbursed. My son stated that he was going to complain due to poor customer service to the GM and he said. "we won't get in any trouble because I see all of the complaints, and I am friend's with the GM and nothing ever happens with complaints. Then, my son said okay I'll come and pick up the pizza, could we get a buy one get one free or a coupon at least? and the guy said, Well, she used curse words and yelled so I can't give you a coupon, but I'll put a note in the system that when you order a no cheese veggie it means, "absolutely NO CHEESE!" I immediately called back, and the person who answered the phone was not willing to refund me ANY of my money for the pizza. I told him that this is why I ordered Dominos in the first place, because I enjoy the crust. He was not willing to make another pizza at all, or give me any sort of reward for this massive mistake.
