The first time I ordered special dishes because I was excited to see some traditional ones like "Mole verde con tamales" and "Mole poblano con pollo" but I was disappointed, the only original thing was the tamales (I hope they have improved the recipe). The truth is I decided to give it a second chance and now is one of my favorite places. But now I prefer to order simple dishes like Taco acorazado or some Chilaquiles, those never disappoint. To ensure a spicy flavor, ask for another sauce, they kindly offer you more than one. Customer service is great. The decoration of the place is something peculiar that makes me feel as if I were in "Mi Mexico lindo y querido"...Well done...Muchas gracias!!

We’re so lucky to have this place in the neighborhood. I’ve been four times and the food and service have been consistently great. The free chips are homemade and the salsa is addictive. Their menu is large and unique but I keep coming back to the chili relleno tacos acorozados. The grilled onions and jalepenos served on top are 🤌 I tried the sopitos camarones on my most recent trip and I can tell the corn tortillas are handmade. The flavors are really fresh and bright. Would definitely order again, and I can’t wait to try more of their menu. If they served margaritas and had a little outdoor seating out front, I’d probably be there every weekend this summer.

FRESH Mexican food. Such a treat to find. We love Mexican food and try as many Mexican restaurants around the Twin Cities as we can and this is now in the top two favorites. Family friendly, cool decor, again - awesome food. COMPLIMENTARY chips and salsa brought to the table. FYI: no alcohol is served here and the menu is a bit confusing. We ordered a beef chimichanga, and beef enchiladas which were both packed full. And the tortillas taste and feel homemade. Er mer gerd, such a treat! Oh wait - we decided to get flan and churros and now we have died and gone to heaven. 😂🥰 We will definitely be back.

All the workers were helpful answering our questions about different menu items. It was quiet when we came, but I believe they still would have been very prompt because that's just how they were. They promptly brought us water and took our drink order right away. We ordered appetizers and they were delicious I can't remember the names but I will remember when I go back! Like at all restaurants, we asked the wait staff to hold our main entree order until we're just about done with the appetizers and they did so. The food was very good, fresh and hot temperature-wise. I felt that the red sauce on the enchiladas was lacking and a little bitter and not as tasty as enchiladas with red sauce usually are. Next time I will order it with the green sauce. There was more than enough food for sure! We recommend this place and we'll go back and take friends with us again in the near future. Erica M. was so helpful and hospitable! The only thing I find so surprising is with an ethnic dish is to serve them with French fries! Crazy! How about an option of rice and beans or french fries instead. We and most of our friends, when we do ethnic food, we don't want french fries, we want ethnic food! I will suggest...

My daughter and I visited this new restaurant this evening and WOW! Super impressed! Hands down the best Mexican food in Minneapolis (haha I’m a horrible critic- I’m so dang picky!) honestly the best food we’ve had in months! The gauc was so chunky and soooo delicious! Fajitas were huge! Made 7 tacos with still more left!! But even better than the food was the service- had such a sweet, amazing adorable waitress! She was so attentive! Checked on us frequently- refilling waters, salsa, tortillas so quick! I honestly felt bad she was helping so much! Great food with great service is unheard of these days! Completely recommend and we have found our new family fav! We will be visiting here very very often now❤️ thank you for such an amazing dinner- I work hard and barely get time alone with my daughter- thank you for making our evening together such a wonderful experience! (Note to manager- that waitress is a gem! I used to own a bar- and she’s one of the best I’ve ever seen honestly!) as your ward 12 chair, fellow neighbor and small business owner- welcome to the neighborhood! We are so very, very blessed to have you here! If I can ever be of assistance...

They have nice bike racks right out front, and the service was quick to get seated right away. However, as our meal went, the service got slower and slower. By the end of the meal, we asked for the check, and they never even brought it. We were tired of waiting so we just went up to the register to pay. The food is tasty, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are good sized--generous, but not so much that you can't eat it all.

The worst part of our visit, however, was the behavior of the table next to us. In addition to the not-quiet music in the restaurant, they were having a loud conversation, plus they were blaring noisy and annoying videos from their cell phones. It was really rude and inconsiderate behavior for a public place. I know that the restaurant is not in charge of customers' behaviors, but I probably won't be back any time soon...
