Love Raising Cane's food, been a long time customer of the Dinkytown and Shoreview locations. First time visiting this location because I just moved into the neighborhood. Hours posted on Google say open til midnight every night. Drove with my father in law on a snowy night at 1145, he's never tried and we were craving a late night snack. We pull up and the drive thru is blocked with traffic cones. Park, walk up to the door, locked. Lights are on, five people inside cleaning up. Walked up to the drive thru window, and the first person nearby just shakes their head at me. After a minute or so I'm still standing there, finally someone comes and opens up the window. At this point it's 11:50;
Me: hey, Google says you're open til midnight? It's ten minutes to.
Dude: checks phone well man sorry but we cleaning up.
Me: well that's not midnight then...
Dude: Sorry man...
I work in food service, not trying to be a Karen here but posted hours are posted hours. I don't care how slow business is or whatever bogus factors go into you deciding to close more than ten minutes early, but cleaning has to work around being able to service paying customers who expect to be able to contribute to your business and receive goods as expected. As a company you're paying five people at least 15/hr to refuse revenue so they can go home early. Either adjust your hours or your staff. Absolutely...
Read moreI had ordered via mobile in hopes of a faster experience without having to go inside. After 15 minutes of waiting, and a car joining beside me halfway through that, my food came. I looked to make sure I got all my extra sauces, and I opened a box that had a cold toast.
A cold toast. Sucks, I thought about asking them to heat it up, but I figured I will eat it with my leftovers so I'll heat it up. Okay, fine. Next box had a slightly warm chicken tender... again I figured it'll be part of my leftovers. The next box did have my sauces and my caniac combo was hot.
As I'm driving I reached in and nibbled on fries. As I reached home I ate a tender form the combo. And when I went to grab the second tender I felt a small piece. Okay, they sometimes send two small pieces as one tender. That's fine. I checked the box and lo and behold, one okay-sized chicken tender and 2 more pieces that were as thin as my fingers.
I order caniac combo to have leftovers, something I wasn't given today. I was given 3 small pieces of chicken, a medium 4th tender and a normal fifth tender.
Portion is awful. I regret not checking my combo at the store, because for the price I paid, I got cold extra pieces and almost no chicken in my combo. I ordered extra fries and that I can't say if it was the right or...

I ordered from this store a couple weeks ago and my interaction with Robert at the drive-thru was extremely confusing and rude. I ordered a combo with extra sauce. I pulled ahead, paid and received my food. I quickly checked my bag to make sure everything ordered was included and noticed my extra sauce wasn’t anywhere to be found. At this point the drive-thru window was closed so I attempted to wave my hand to draw Robert’s attention. The window opened and I was immediately barked at with “HOLD ON” and then he closed the window again. A few moments later the window reopened and I was asked what I needed. I explained I didn’t get my extra sauce. He proceeded to argue with me that I didn't order extra sauce as I presented my receipt. Finally after realizing I did indeed order extra sauce he seemed annoyed and came back moments later with an extra sauce cup. He handed it to me and again barked “IS THAT ALL, THANKS!” and promptly closed the window.
The interaction was extremely strange and rude, my food was fine but this employee was either having a bad day or just can’t handle working...
