Back in Minneapolis, I am visiting family for the state fair. I am super excited about that, but in the meantime, in between times, a brother still has to eat! My brother recommended a local place he visits often, so we took a trip. Stanley's was a very big bar/restaurant. According to my brother, they went through some reconstruction to upgrade their patio, which looks amazing. They have a huge indoor area that has plenty of seats and plenty of televisions to watch the games. The allure, however, is definitely their patio. The patio has intimate lighting. There are televisions out there too for your viewing pleasure. They also have the digital fireplaces along the walls. The ambiance was superb. I keep telling myself I will make sure to remember the names of the waitstaff, but for each review, I keep forgetting to write it down. I like the idea of giving them the flowers they deserve when they do well and giving them constructive feedback when service is not what I expect. Anyway, our server was great. He was very patient with us, helping me specifically choose a great option from the menu. Even though I made a huge mistake ordering my meal and forgetting to tell him to omit the bacon. He did not make it a big deal, immediately took it back to the kitchen and made me a fresh one. I really do appreciate that. Now, for the food, I had the sweet and spicy chicken wrap (no bacon, of course), and it was delectable. The most satisfying thing about the meal, in my opinion, was the portion. The wrap came with french fries, and before that, the table shared some nachos, which was a great portion as well. I was so full I was able to save half my wrap for a midnight snack. Stanley's was a great restaurant, I highly recommend it and if anyone goes absolutely sit on the patio, I forgot to mention it is retractable as well so it does not matter what the season is sitting out there is always an option.

Had very rude service here We walked in and were told to seat ourselves. 10 seconds later we were yelled at after looking for a spot for seating ourselves by the same person! And then were told to wait to be seated. Right after that I was told to go back to my car because I had my water bottle and that was not allowed in the establishment. And it wasn't in a nice way. I was told sternly like I was a kid in a kindergarten who talked back to the teacher. "That's not allowed in here, you realize external drinks are banned in establishments, get that out of here" We then we're there for the meat lottery where they was absolutely zero showmanship and they just announced the winning number right after we bought out tickets by walking to our table and saying "Do we have number 309" a number we didn't have. Very anticlimactic. Try a bit harder. Multiple waitresses also complained to our table that it wasn't busy enough today. maybe that is why the service was so angry? I'm not sure... Ended up leaving before we ordered because the vibes were wrong. Wouldn't recommend

Come for your dog. Stay for yourself! Stanley's is easily the most dog-friendly restaurant our family has ever been too! Like most restaurants your dog will receive a bowl of water upon arrival. What you may not expect is the dog bone, yoga mat, and dog menu to "make sure your dog is comfortable!" Our dog, Leia, highly recommends to Muttloaf. The dog servings are large, and Leia took home half of her meal in a real doggy bag!! Now, for the humans... the Fiesta Fondue was outstanding and made a great starter. The wings were meaty, well-sauced, and paired nicely with the beer. The burger and fries were delicious. Serving sizes were plenty big, and no one went home hungry. The whole family will definitely return!!

I had the Impossible burger (vegan). The waitress was super nice and very helpful with all my vegan questions. I asked for sauteed mushrooms and onions (was extra but worth it), they did that in oil. They make them plus the burger on a separate grill. Which was great. The fries and tots however are done in the same fryer as non vegan items so I didn't order them. The hummus platter was good too. I would've given five stars but they put a straw in your glass as they bring your drink out and I'm anti straws. So maybe they could change to no straws or straws on request. Overall the food was good, service was awesome and I'd go back.

From the minute we stepped in and at sat at the cozy, hometown bar, Hilary greeted us with a smile. We ordered the delicious burger and salad highlighted in yellow... not sure what significance of the yellow line & what it represented but perhaps these are favorites and rightfully so... The "Tree Trunks Burger" had a delicious brisket that was "OUT OFTHIS WORLD"... my yellow inked salad was named "Honey Pecan Chicken- and it was absolutely delightful! The honey mustard mixed with the sweet potato, egg and craisins... WHOA!!! Highly recommend this wonderful food, great service and a magnificent date night!❤️🥰🙌

Steak in YUMYUM bowl was very good. All-around tasty GF dish. Sweet potato waffle fries were not special at all--skip. Dog friendly patio.
