Poorly managed, lacking in customer service, dirty, achieved multiple order errors, drug trash bags through line of customers.
When I arrived, I noticed a sign that their oven was out of order. No big deal, I thought, that happens.
Then I proceed to wait several minutes while two cashiers did not acknowledge me. I was at this point the only person in line. They seemed busy though, so I assumed they may be working on online orders. No big deal.
Then one of the cashiers told a customer who was waiting for coffee, that he was refunding his entire order since it was so bad. My eyebrows are now raised and I think that I may be in for a disappointing experience.
One of the cashiers finally acknowledges me, but then promptly walks away. I glance back and see the line forming behind me, about four people now.
When I am finally invited to the register, I tell the lady that I want a Grande dark roast and a blueberry scone. She repeats that I want a blueberry scone and a tall coffee with room. No. I clarify that want a Grande dark roast with no room. She laughs and changes it. Not too bad, right?
She goes off and does something else. She comes back and gives me a cup with tons of room. Oh well. I remind her about my scone. The line behind me had grown to about ten deep. I pay her in cash. She takes forever to count change.
I sit, drink, eat, work, and watch. Watch and learn. Learn never to come back to this Starbucks becausea customer after customer is ignored, misunderstood, and leaves irritated.
I watch as the trash is removed from the customer-facing trash can in a way that blocks everyone from accessing the cream and sugar.
I watch as the trash bags full of coffee grounds, food bits, and paper products from the kitchen is dropped loudly on the floor next to the people in line, startling them. I then watch as two staff members haul two garbage bags and one rolling garbage bin out into the seating area then out...
Read moreI was in to the store for coffee over 5 weeks ago and slipped and fell due to the crazy non highlighted curb. I sprained my ankle and hurt the opposite knee upon exiting. I hobbled back in (plus my fall was witnessed by a staff member who later came up to us) to tell staff and was assured they’d fill out an incident report. I asked that a manager call me and my only request was that the management immediately address the area by coning it off, using bright duck tape or anything that would show others there’s a problem area here in order to prevent this from happening to others and until it was warm enough to be painted/highlighted. It took 3 days for a manager to call me and he stated that he couldn’t make any changes even for safety due to their lease. He gave me the regional manager’s number which I followed up with and was assured the curb would be painted right away. In fact this never happened even to this day. I called the regional again and shared that the safety of this area hadn’t been addressed and never heard back. In fact, I then called Starbucks corporate on my injury and safety concern and additionally, never heard back. My ankle still isn’t back to normal and what’s most concerning is that Starbucks doesn’t care if there’s an injury on their property or clearly in preventing future injuries. For anyone that gets injured potentially in the future, I did everything I could by repeatedly alerting Starbucks to the safety concern to try and prevent it. So...
Read moreGreat drinks but the service from Jessica (who took my order) was absolutely embarrassingly horrible. No greeting, no smile, just stood behind the register and frowned at me as I greeted her (paused, and after no greeting or smile was returned), placed my order for two drinks. One of the drinks was a little complicated and longer and she (with significant attitude and a snorted “ha”) asked “thats all…just for the latte?”. She then told me the price and I waited for the screen to change (usually the price is reflected on the check-out screen) and after a moment of me waiting, she very obviously rolled her eyes and deadpan stared at me and repeated the price. I was extremely taken aback by this customer service or lack thereof, I have never experienced such overt rudeness and frank contempt from an employee at this Starbucks before and felt compelled to let the business know the jarring experience I had with Jessica.
However, the rest of the staff was lovely as ever, and the drinks were perfection. Unfortunately the experience was tainted by Jessica, who seemed intent on being as unpleasant as possible and cast a pall on a beautiful...
