This Taco Bell in Waite Park, MN has officially hit rock bottom, and I am appalled by how I was treated here. I came in to pick up a DoorDash order—something I’ve done countless times at various locations without a single issue. From the moment I walked in, multiple employees began screaming, cursing, and belittling me in a way that was aggressive, targeted, and completely unprovoked.

To make it worse, I witnessed them deliberately withhold part of the DoorDash order that was meant for a paying customer. This was not a mistake—it was intentional, and it was done out of spite. That level of unprofessionalism doesn’t just hurt me—it hurts the customer, DoorDash, and Taco Bell’s brand as a whole.

The ONLY decent employee in the building was a gentleman named Brandon. He was polite, respectful, and professional, and he is the only reason this review isn’t zero stars—though if that were an option, I would choose it without hesitation.

What makes this even more personal for me is that I used to work at this exact location. I know firsthand how stressful the job can get, but I also know there is absolutely no excuse for treating another human being the way I was treated. In my time working here, I never cursed at customers, belittled them, or withheld their food out of spite. The current environment in this store is toxic, hostile, and damaging to Taco Bell’s reputation.

I left feeling humiliated, targeted, and discriminated against. This was not “bad customer service”—this was harassment. Because of the severity of what happened, I will be seeking legal aid to address the targeted and discriminatory nature of the treatment I received.

This review serves as both a public warning to potential customers and an official call to Taco Bell corporate: • Investigate this location immediately. • Hold the employees involved accountable. • Take action to ensure this behavior never happens again.

Absolutely gutted. This by far the worst drive through I’ve ever been at. Worst experience ever! I picked up my girlfriend on her lunch break and drove her over to this location to get her some food. While at the drive through, she ordered #10, but the server put in the wrong order. I was sitting in the driver seat and thought she probably didn’t hear her right. I put my head out and repeated the order. The lady took it differently. She started yelling at me and cussing me out that I “scream” at her. I ABSOLUTELY didn’t scream. She literally told me “bye! We don’t served people like you anyway”. I was in total disbelief. People like me? Because I have a African accent? Because I am black? I thought it was all a joke. I drive up to the window to get my food, and she immediately open the window and started yelling at me to leave. All white server. She called the cop and three cop cars showed up with six police officers. I was baffled. Never been in a situation like this. I intelligently explained to the officers and they advised me to let go of the situation and call Taco Bell corporate and file a complaint.

Being black in itself make things really complicated; and having an African accent makes it even worse. It shouldn’t be like this. No one...

This location has always been my go to, they screw up the least compared to others in the area.

Lately they've been slacking, some of the associates who stand at the window make inappropriate comments (usually disdain about having to work) and just odd personal details that nobody asked for.

Most annoyingly past few orders have been messed up. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BAG BEFORE LEAVING THE LOT. I got 2 veggie bowls from this location at 2 separate points and both times they put CHICKEN IN IT. As someone who does not eat animals that was $8 and an enitre bowl of food in the trash because not enough attention was not paid to my order. Not to mention they forgot our drink, which we had luckily noticed before leaving the window.

Love that they have so many vegetarian options, however with how often they mistakenly put meat in these items, makes me apprehensive. Seems like they don't care quite enough to maintain the vegetarian standards unfortunately.
