GYRO KING — Restaurant in Minnesota

Worst gyro I've ever had...it was a pita full of chopped onion and tomato, with a small amount of chopped lamb. Weird. Philly cheese steak was more like a Sloppy Joe. Didn't start my pickup order until I got there. I ordered online for 7:30p pickup. Arrived at 7:36p and it wasn't ready. Sat there for a while as they put it all together. Finally got my food at 7:42p. I paid online for a sprite and they argued with me about it at pickup. They kept saying it wasn't ordered, even when I pulled up my receipt to show them. They asked how I paid/ordered, and it was through their website. Save your money and...

If you love Greek food in a casual kind of place, check thIs place out!!! The food here is great, inexpensive and good sized portions. The Chicken and Rice was so good, and the falafel was too. Meats are cooked fresh each day, no frozen stuff. Great selections on the menu. Lots of add-ins like olives, tomato, onion, garbanzo beans, jalapeños, banana peppers & more. Menu has both Greek & American foods. The atmosphere isn't great but they're working on it. Owners are very friendly & make sure you get your order exactly how you want it....

Compared to a lot of places that I've been to in southern Minnesota this place,I went to the gyro King. Not too sure if it was just bcuz I went at the right time but I got some gyro fries. The meat was tender and cut fresh. Usually at a place where they say sell gyros you have meat in your gyro that is old and dried. They pre-cut it, I this place this day had fresh cut lamb meat. Love it. I will go again and I hope that it is the same fresh cut meat And theTzatziki sauce...
