One out of 5 stars is actually too generous for this location. I'd give it half a star if I could. There were so many things that went wrong during this experience so please bear with me. I tried to order online and found out when I got to the location that they don't have the "iPad" to accept online orders(how about you inform the company IT person to get the online ordering disabled until you do?). I told the worker that I had never been to this place before so I don't know how it works. All she said was just order. No explanation on how the menu works with the different combos or anything. I asked to pull up to the window since the drive thru speaker was killing my ears. The initial worker was very rude. They ended up over charging me because I upgraded my burgers to double meat. They were too lazy to change the order and charged my card a second time for the 2 extra patties even though my combo was their special for the night. All the females had loose ponytails and no hairnets. The female working the fryer had her mask below her upper lip. Now to the food. The burger patties were so dry like they had been sitting in a food warmer for a while. The burger patties also tasted like they were mass produced frozen patties that had been thawed out. The tomatoes were old, the lettuce was wilted, and the mushrooms are canned. The fries were lukewarm at best. The chicken tenders barely had any meat they were so thin. The cheese curds were overcooked. The funnel fries were undercooked and oily, definitely not enough to be worth what they are charging. The onion rings were nothing special, tasted like Members Mark brand. The pop was lacking in syrup and tasted flat. Last but not least, my double bigger cheeseburger had NO cheese. I would never recommend this location. Hopefully the other locations have higher standards than this one. If you have working taste buds, don't waste...

So I thought that I would give this place a try as it would be a change of pace from other fast food places. We pulled up around 7:55pm and wanted to order. We were ignored by the employees completely, so we pulled up to the window. By this time it was 7:58pm. At first the employees didn’t even acknowledge us when we pulled up, but then we asked if there were still open. They said no and shut the door and locked it. If you’re going to advertise online and on Facebook that you are open until 9pm, you should be open until 9. Not only that, but I’ve been in the food service business for 15 years and if you have someone come in before the business is technically closed, you should still serve them. This was poor customer service. I’ll be spending my money elsewhere and be telling others to stay away from here as well. Change your hours online...

The burger I remember eating from this place sucked. Mind you, I also think Val's sucks. A lot of people seem hung up on places being local and whatnot, but I'm just telling it like it is (to me). This is either the worst burger in town or tied for last. Does that mean it's inedible? No, of course not. It just means I'm on the opposite end of impressed.

The opposite of impressed is disappointed. I was disappointed.

And if you really disagree with me on this, then eat a plain hamburger. Yeah, yeah, I know; you like stuff on your burgers, wherever you eat them. But that stuff gets between you and being able to fully appreciate the quality of the patty by itself.

Try a bare burger and still think this place is alright? Well, that's our difference of opinion. Or the people in there just made me a disappointing burger that day. I'm...

I would like to be more kind to a regional restaurant chain, but other than the fact that it has no dining room (drive-thru and picnic tables only), Burger Time just doesn’t stand out from the competition. There’s nothing that stands out in a bad way, either, the food is made fresh, and it’s a reasonable, if not great, value. But the flavors and menu items uninspired—if it weren’t for the fried pickles, I’d have a hard time believing this menu had changed in the past twenty years, the burgers look unappealing due to a lack of attention when making them, and there are many places close by where your dollar will go farther.

Far better alternative to McDonald's! For the price and quantity of food, you can't go wrong! Eating here is more about nostalgia for me - I appreciate that it tastes the same, years and years past. It was a little frustrating that we couldn't walk up and order and had to get back in our car to go through the drive thru. I imagine some business has been lost from vehicles that can't go through the tight turn at the drive up window and not being able to walk up. There's a decent amount of picnic tables and trash cans for outdoor dining. Perfect on a nice weather day!
