Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Minnetonka

You cannot beat Dominos for a fast affordable pizza, especially when ownership changed and the garlic crust was introduced! Made a big difference. I almost always go for the pickup specials. Dominos of course is known for their delivery, but you get a great deal by picking it uo yourself. My go to is in Mound and the onky late night option in town. The lava cakes and other deserts are excellent for fast food. I really love tge addition of the salads and their pasta bowls also. And it you want the garlic twist or cinnamon twists or garlic cheese bread, those are always tasty additions to your order. The wings are just your frozen microwaved I believe, and not great, but a change of pace addition. I would never recommend to go there just for the wings. Dominos has really improved their food and always make a great pizza. I like the robust sauce, and always order extra sauce which is free to ask for on the pizza. Learned tbat from Dad. The sauce was not good years ago, now I really lime their sauce and made a big difference. Their ingredients are so much improved from 30 yrs ago when we ordered in college. They have good, fast pizzas, and obviously delivery! Don't forget their garlic...

I made an order around 6:50pm using the domino's app and had no issues with that. It also stated I should receive my from within 50-60mins. Unfortunately, there was a problem with everything else that followed. 7:50 comes around and the app says, "checking for freshness at 7:29." I figured the food should be here soon and my daughter's and I can eat before they have to go to bed at 9pm. 8:15 comes around, no change in what the tracker says and when I attempted to call the store, all 10 times it would ring and then eventually hang up by the 3 ring. Consequently, my family figured something else out to eat. Then, after no communication from domino's, such as a courtesy call saying they are running late, I finally receive the food at 10pm! Of course, the food was cold and even if it wasn't, nobody was hungry anymore because it came 2 hours later than expected with no communication that they were running late. This is the 2nd time it happened to where my food was either never received or received very late and no way of getting ahold of someone at the store due to the phone hanging up. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I placed my order online but when I arrived at the store they had no knowledge of my order. After some time, I placed my order again and asked if they would give me some chicken or something on the house because I had to wait another 15 minutes for the new order to be cooked.

The guy told me no, because it was my fault they didn't have the order. That irked me so I cancelled my order. Then he said I was scamming for free food, and when I asked him his name he threw a pen at me and told me to write it down.

He also said he was the manager, but he looked to be 17 years old and lacked any customer service skills. I don't care if you don't believe a customer, you certainly don't treat them like he treated me.

I admit, I told him he had a lot of balls to throw a pen at a customer, and I walked out with my middle finger raised, but I felt very offended at how I was treated and was very nervous about the situation.

I do not recommend going to this Dominos Pizza. I haven't tried their food since they moved from Main Street, and it looks like...
