Literally the worst service I’ve ever had. I walked in over an hour before closing to 1 kid, (probably 15?) working by himself, with AirPods in. I tried to get his attention a couple times and he walked by me multiple times while finishing up an online order without saying a WORD. Yes, we made eye contact at least 2 times while he didn’t address me. He finally asked me what I wanted and said maybe 4 words. I ordered 2 blizzards & changed the size of one, but instead of changing the size, he rang it up as a 3rd blizzard. I didn’t know I was charged for 3 until he brought them all finished to the counter. There was no receipt. I asked for a carrier since I now had to carry 3 blizzards and he looked at me blankly. I asked again. He said, “we don’t have those.” I said, “then how do people carry multiple?” He said, “like this,” and proceeded to motion holding all 3. I asked for kids since I would need to carry them out, and he looked at me blankly. I asked for lids again and then just grabbed them since he was so unbelievably unhelpful. He asked me if I wanted a bag and then gave me a bag, folded up…didn’t offer to help me cover the blizzards and bag them, but instead pushed me to a different window and proceeded to help the people next in line who had just walked up. And didn’t provide napkins or answer me when I asked about them after the next people stepped up to the window. By the way, those people ordered, and he said they didn’t have 3 of the options of blizzards they tried to order. I don’t leave many reviews, but this is the worst customer service I’ve had in a long time. Wish I was exaggerating. Also all 3 of the blizzards I ended up with were not full, and had ice cream lower than at least 1/2 inch from the top of the cup. I can’t even believe a supervisor would let that kid work on his own, and why is he working in a place that regularly has customers if he clearly has no interest in helping customers? I wasted money and time at this place and could have brought my business elsewhere, hopefully where I’d be greeted and told to hold on a minute while they finish up an online order, given a receipt when asked, not over-charged and given an inaccurate quantity of blizzards, filled the blizzards to the top of the cup (rather than shorted on all 3 of the blizzards), given napkins when asked, helped with packaging up my to-go items or at least asked if I need help, and ultimately treated like someone who just made a purchase. Horribly...
Read moreTook 60 minutes to get our blizzard. The line had about 8 groups in front of me, and 2 people working inside. No drive-though, just walk up in-store window. The line was outside, due to covid spacing indoors. When we got up to give our order, they were writing our order on a napkin, and each blizzard took about 5 minutes each. The employees hands were full of toppings, and handling the spoons in a way I wouldn't use them anymore. There were no carry trays, so they put them in a bag instead. We purchased 5 large Blizzards and the first one came out after a long time, and she said here is you cookie dough blizzard (which wasn't correct - was supposed to be mint cookie dough) and we said it's fine, we will just take it, if you are going to throw it away to make a new one. Mainly because we didn't want to wait an additional 5 min for another 1. Then it sat on the counter melting while she made the others, 1 at a time. They were melted and soup by the time we got our of there. Of course it was not served upside down, but getting a coupon for another one at our next Visit was never going to happen again, so we just took it and left.
The signs inside were old, and didn't show current flavors. I asked for one that was pictured on the sign, but they said that was seasonal and not for years. Why have a sign with the Blizzard's picture of it? We would have been faster to drive a few cities away to get a blizzard, sit down and eat it, then drive across the cities back. A group In front of us got a mini blizzard each, and it literally took 5 minutes for each of them to come out, individually. We will never be going to this location again.
I know DQ is franchises, but this is honestly bad for the DQ name. People were walking by and trying to come in through another side door, only to realize the line was out the door, and when told how long people have been waiting, they walked away. Sad that business was turned away. We thought that something may have happened, and that's why it was taking so long, but no, just poor efficiency making the orders. We were grossed out by how unclean her hands were from making blizzards, and her shirt was covered completely with splatter. I get that things could have happened while making some, but this was caked all over her entire shirt from top to bottom, from bad technique. We have been to many different DQs and there is some splatter on some, but...
Read moreMy review is very consistent with review below mine. Went to visit and ordered 3 turtle Sundays to celebrate my dead grandmother's birthday with her favorite Sunday. Ordered what I wanted and he came out with Carmel Sundays with something else on it? Asked him kindly to apply fudge and he began to give an attitude and tell us we ordered wrong. Asked him to fix and he made big fuss. This young man should not be in any sort of customer facing situation ever. Poor attitude didn't say your welcome after we said thank you for the wrong order. Shoot I even threw some change .85$ into there tip jar. Young man if you read this you didn't deserve my tip and in reality you don't deserve a job. Your poor attitude will assure you will always be the punk kid that you are. Owner needs to take charge and get behind the...
