Ok so here's my honest review as someone who's worked in food service and retail so this is meant to be constructive for the business. You NEVER serve food and touch items such as pens, books, etc with the same pair of gloves/unclean hands. Yes you'll have to change gloves and wash your hands often and that's ok. You wouldn't want a bunch of germs on your food so be considerate of the customers please. Don't skimp people on the right portions. Yes you'll have to make more guac, steak, rice, etc A LOT but that's the job. Everything should be served by spoonful not half, not a little, the whole thing. People are paying $15-$20 for this so they should most certainly get their money's worth. There's no reason for several people to be standing and talking behind the counter with 1 person serving customers. That's too much for one person when it's busy and it's wasting time. Two people should be serving at least with a system in place. Lastly, the store should be clean at ALL times. This is a restaurant and people want to eat in a clean environment. The serving area should be SPOTLESS. People are not going to want their bowls, burritos, etc made on a counter with ingredients mixed together, rice everywhere, and guac smeared all over. Again you're going to have to do this A LOT but it's a part of the gig so if you don't want to do it find somewhere where you don't have to. Again, this is meant to be constructive and if this Chipotle wants to stay open these issues have to be rectified immediately. I'm really rooting for this Chipotle and wish...
Read moreI ordered on the app and picked up at their pull thru window. Order was 3 tacos, small Guacamole and chips, and a large drink. Get a notification on the app that it was ready to pickup. Get there, high school age boy working asks who I'm picking up for. I State my name. He says Okay. Dissapears for 10 minutes, opens window again , uhh what was the name? I tell him again and show him the order on my phone. "Okay ill be right back". Another 10 min go by he's back and hands me the tacos. Then dissappear again. I'm waiting and waiting and he comes back to the Window and says ummm so was there something else you needed? I say yeah the rest of my order. Looks confused so again , I show him mobile recipe. Then he hands me a bag of chips out the window and YET AGAIN disappears. Comes back, UHHH we're all out of queso, is there something else you wanted instead??? I said I didn't order queso I ordered Guacamole. Oh okay. Eventually gives me the guac and I say and a large PIBB and that's all. Absolutely ridiculous that I had to wait 40 minutes after getting a notification that my order was ready to pick up. So dissapointing. I had high expectations for this location and from my experience and the rest of these reviews I read, they're not going to be open for long. Poor management in my opinion, and lack of training running the place...
Read moreWhere to begin... The service is so slow. The food assembly counters are a mess! The cooking area was loaded with food scraps. Employees aren't washing hands, instead they just wiping their soiled gloves on their messy aprons. No one is sure how to prepare the food, like a plain cheese kids quesadilla, for example... Today's options were exclusively just steak, barbacoa, chicken al pastor... No regular chicken, carnitas or sofritas. There was no fajita veggies, green salsa, queso Blanco or chips. For drinks they didn't have the watermelon limeade or berry fresco. The restaurant tables were all dirty. Covered in a thin layer of smashed food. The drink station had a film all over it. The garbage cans were full. There was a "snail trail" of dried slime from what appeared to be previously emptied garbage can. For our to go order they only have the smaller bags, which didn't fit our burrito bowls correctly. The manager was standing there just watching the mess grow around him. Apparently unable to do anything but zone out with his clip board in his hands. These poor kids looked so stressed and are in need of decent management. Corporate needs to come in and train their...
