Tasty Bite Minooka — Restaurant in Minooka

I am not recommending this place, don’t go! I picked up a gyros plate, with 2 pita breads, last night to go: I had to explicitly ask for the meat not to be fried on the grill, but it was still dry anyway when I ate it. There was no tzatziki sauce (sour cream with cucumber), instead there was a ranch-style dressing with small chunks in it, YUCH! Then, to make it worse, on the side there were only 4 small, thin half slices of tomatoes and not enough thin slices of onion for two sandwiches, AND the onions were not fresh. And to make matters worse, there was not enough meat to fill two sandwiches. This place was better before and the people there didn’t smile – all 3 of them were surly. As I was waiting for my carryout, a high school couple came in (to the empty restaurant at 4pm – why is it empty at 4pm? hmmmmm) and ordered hot dogs and fries to eat there. I saw the hot dogs and it seemed that that they were extremely light-handed on the condiments. As I was leaving I heard the boy tell that girl that the bun on his hot dog was hard – it was stale. So I showed up w like 5 min left till they closed, in a semi, didn't really have a idea what I wanted, I just picked them cuz the place I wanted down the street locked the doors 15 min early. I got the Mac n cheese burger, it came out pretty quick and it was delicious( If I wasn't in such a rush I would have seen the burger of the month which sounds awesome). And a small order of wings which also were delicious. And there was a ton of food, so I have leftovers. The woman who was running the place was very nice, didn't seem irritated that I held them up closing. I will absolutely come back to this place again. I have visited this establishment before, a bit pricey but not bad.This is just my own opinion. I got a Gyros Platter, I like strips of meat not pieces and tiny pieces they were. My fries were mixed with old ones. I did pay for extra sauce and I never get it. They act like they are giving you one but with a plate you already get two cups. I wanted an extra. If mine looked like there picture it would have been fine. The meat taste good. I did however get one big piece of meat. One small cup for a platter is not enough. The cup is good for a sandwich.
