Fat Boyz Pizza & Stuff — Restaurant in Minooka

Trying to find my new go-to pizza spot being new to the area and got to try Fat Boyz this past weekend.

Looked up the menu on line and figured out my order. Didn't see any online ordering option so called it in for pick-up. Order taker was pleasant and assisted with answering a question about the style of pizza and how they're made in this area.

We ordered a pepperoni in their 16" size and a Tropical 4" with no tomatoes as well as a side order of garlic bread with cheese and marinara. Order was repeated back for accuracy which was a nice touch and told it would be about 25 minutes which is very reasonable for a Saturday night where I'm originally from so this was also welcoming. Pricing was also nothing crazy.

When it was time to get the pizzas everything was ready to go and easily picked up at the pick-up entrance of the building. After the short drive home everything traveled well and smelled good. The crusts were a respectable thin crust and not too thin. Good distribution of toppings and everything tasted good. The garlic bread was especially good. The next morning I had some of the pepperoni cold and reheated on the stove top in cast iron. Both serving styles worked out and was still pleased with the pizza that next day.

All in all it's a good pizza and I'll certainly consider them next time when ordering pizza. Is it my new favorite place? Only time (and more...

HORRIBLE!! If you can actually catch them open when they say they are going to be open it would be a miracle!! So disappointing...I had company over and wanted to place a large order only to call and find out that no one was there! Menu stated there hours....said they were open..But to my surprise the place was empty! Not the first time this happened. Called one evening and was told I was lucky because had I called 5 minutes later I would not of been able to place an order as they were closing early...too slow to stay open. Well I should of should of taken the hint and called somewhere else as they couldn't even get the order right! Left half of the order behind. None of the condiments were included. Food was stale and tasted cold. If it wasn't for the pleasant phone manner the place should fold! I will never order from here again. ...

2 stars for the pizza. The flavor combo of the Theo pizza we had was good, however execution of the pizza was horrible. The crust was so crispy on the outside. Yes that is typically of a thin crust pizza, however the center of the pizza was tough. Also the chicken was over cooked. THE WORST PART. When we first walked in no one was there to greet us. We saw someone at the bar and walked over there. We walked past someone who later I noticed was an employee. No acknowledgement from him. I’m assuming it was the owner at the bar. It was like we were interrupting what he was doing. It’s not our fault no one noticed us. Totally blowing us off even though we told him we have never been there he still didn’t point us in the correct direction. They have such great specials but I can now see why the place was...
