Minooka Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Minooka

We booked a party to be held here- apparently the air has been broken in and off all week and they didn’t notify us that it was 81 degrees in the dining room & miserable. We asked if they had fans but they said they had “none to spare” because they were using them for themselves. I understand that they are hot too but we are paying customers. And it was miserable in there. We contacted the manager and she said she had no control of over it. Maybe they can “discount it or something” Sam, the bartender, was very apologetic and we appreciated that. She said they wanted to close but weren’t allowed to.

We ended up leaving and moving our party elsewhere. & then they ended up closing down the place…

I understand things happen but a heads up would have been nice so that we could decide what we wanted to do. & the constant “well it’s not my fault” attitude is such poor...

I hope people get to experience this establishment like my wife and I did. We started off with the Buffalo Chicken egg rolls, they weren't anything me personally would get again. My wife had the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, and I myself had the Blue cheese hamburger and let me tell you it is exactly what I expected a blu cheese burger to taste like. Very Good and as for the wife's Philly she had no complaints and the empty plate said it all. We have a lot of good restaurants in that area and hopefully people will try Minooka Sports Bar & Grill and help keep they're doors open, they have plenty of seating. Also while we were there I seen adertised a pitcher of domestic beer and 20 traditional wings was $20 dollars. Come on how can you beat that. Definitely going back for another one of those burgers....

So I stopped by Minooka Sports Bar & Grill for my lunch. Everything was reasonably priced and delicious! But what I really want to highlight is the service. I believe her name was Ally (I hope I spelled it right.) Not only was she amazing at making sure I had everything that I needed and that I was enjoying my meal, she was unbelievably easy to talk to, and just genuinely such an amazing person. I definitely had a life-changing conversation in such a beautiful way. I’m so glad that I had called in. You definitely just earned my business for life.
