My family and I stopped in while traveling to grab a quick dinner. We were disgusted and in awe of the service we received here. Was greeted by a young girl cashier that had her mask pulled down and was chewing on her 1 inch long fingernail the entire time she took our order. She seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. She proceeded to not wash her hands after them being in her mouth, and touched our food and the drive through food. We asked for ketchup and after she spun in circles searching for it, she set down a few packets that were stuck together with old ketchup. She even said “ew, these are gross and have stuff all over them,” and then set them down for us and walked away. The counter where the food sat while being expod was dirty and unsanitary. All tables inside were also very dirty. We stood and waited for our food for quite awhile, and we were the only ones in there. The bags were sitting on the counter for minutes before we asked if they were done. She told us she was waiting on the third sandwich, but we had only ordered 2. That’s when she realized the bags were done so we took them. The fries were half full containers, undercooked, and cold. Save yourself time. Do NOT stop at this location. I understand staff is difficult to find at this time, but short staff is better than an undertrained, common...
Read moreI want to tell you about the worse Wendy’s experience I have ever had, we were traveling over the weekend and usually stop at Wendys when we are on road because we can depend on getting a good meal at a good price, but last night was horrible. We stopped at Wendy’s located at 105 North Ridge Road in Minooka, Ill, and the lobby was closed, this was around 8:00pm on a Saturday night forcing us to use the drive through, we placed our order and found out they did not have everything we wanted so we had to change our order. We had to wait for our food, I didn’t time it but I know I listened to a few songs on the radio and started to comment that we could have gone to a sit-down restaurant at this pace. After the long wait we were finally given our food by a rude lady that must have wished we were not there, we got on the road to discover that our burgers were cold, the cheese was not even melted, and the fries tasted like rubber, they had been sitting out for a very long time, they were long from fresh, you would think after making us wait for our food it would at least be warm and fresh, not this place, the only good thing I can say about this visit, our drinks were at...
Read moreWell, color me deeply disappointed. I rolled up craving a Son of Baconator—because nothing says “treat yourself” like bacon on bacon—but what I got was a soggy, sad excuse for a burger that should’ve come with a warning label: “May cause extreme regret.”
Yes, the drive-through cashier was pleasant and speedy. Great. But then I opened the wrapper to find bacon so limp and wet, it looked like it had been steamed in someone’s pocket. It was gross. And not in a “fast food indulgence” kind of way—more like, “Who hurt this bacon?”
Either the staff doesn’t know how to cook bacon (which is alarming), or they just didn’t care (which is worse). Management: please, for the love of crispy pork, train your people. Bacon isn’t hard. You cook it. Until it’s crispy. Done.
I should’ve listened to the chorus of one-star reviews, but nooo—I thought I’d give it a shot. And now I get to spend the rest of the night wondering if I’ll get food poisoning from this mess. Fantastic.
Final verdict: Avoid this place like it’s a mayonnaise-covered hand grenade. Go literally...
