My husband and I were excited to try this, hoping to find a closer place than Heroes or Buffalo Wild Wings. Upon walking in, I was not impressed, but still willing to give them a try. The inside looks like a fast food joint, but with unfinished wood walls. The place was feeezing cold and there were no booths in which to sit comfortably. We were not greeted when we walked in...the woman at the front desk didn't even look at us until we tried to talk to her after standing for ten minutes. Finally she took our name. Got seated after 10 minutes and then had to wait 30 minutes for a waitress to come take our order. They only have pepsi for soda. No other options. Our waitress was nice but slow and we rarely saw her. We ordered nachos for an appetizer. The chili on the nachos was good, but the cheese was canned and the chips were stale, not freshly fried as the menu promises. However, we did not have time to enjoy the appetizer because our food came within a minute of the appetizer, which we waited half hour for. I ordered traditional bone in wings with buffalo sauce and fries with beer cheese sauce to dip them in. My husband ordered wings and tots. The tots and fries did not taste fresh, but freezer burned. My husband's wings were ok, but nothing special. Mine were horrible. They were plain with no seasoning or sauce and covered in grease. All of the sauce was on the bottom of the basket mixed with grease. I let the waitress know that there was no sauce on them and that it was on the bottom with about a quarter cup of grease. She was nice, apologized and brought me a small cold cup of sauce to dip them in. I tried to eat one by dipping the wing in the cold sauce, but it just wasn't appealing with all of the grease. I took three small bites of my wings and decided not to eat them. I told her I didn't want to pay for them. She went to get her manager. The manager came over,an older woman with a blonde bob hairstyle and proceeded to be very rude to me. I told her I couldn't eat them because of no sauce and floating in grease and she said, very snootily. "Actually, that's not grease, that's sauce." It was clearly grease as the "sauce" was very red with blobs of grease floating in it and the sauce the waitress gave me in a cup was yellow...same kind of sauce. She tried to argue with me about it and was quite rude. Eventually she did take them off the bill, but I could have done without the rudeness. If it weren't for the manager arguing unprofessionally, I would be willing to try it again, but that ended it for me. I will make the trip to Heroes for good wings that are actually jumbo, not tiny and overfried...
Read moreThis is my second review. I paid 70 bucks for the smallest wings I've ever seen. I was there for 28 minutes and was never asked if I wanted another drink at the bar. I had to go to the front hostess cubicle and ask to place an order to go. Keep in mind there might have been 25 people in the entire restaurant. The bartender should probably stay off of her phone. I will never step foot in this place ever again.
The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the customer service was friendly. As for the food, it was very disappointing. I ordered takeout otherwise I would have had the food sent back. We paid $20 for a half slab of "famous" ribs which consisted of a rectangle brick of meat that was extremely chewy and it was so salty that my tongue actually started to burn. We paid $17 for 10 jumbo wings and four of the wings were about the size of my index finger. I ordered an upgraded appetizer for extra money which consisted of cheese curds and we literally got a small handful of them in a baggie. When you spend almost 45 bucks on food without any alcohol or soft drinks, it's quite depressing when you have to throw half of it away. We also received no forks, knives, napkins, BBQ sauce, or blue cheese. If I ever decide to go back I will most likely just enjoy the large beer selection they have and not eat.
2-4-24 update!!!! Wings were cold and equivalent to chewing on a rubber band. The burger was tasteless and the fries were cold. I was also charged $5.50 for a tall boy of Busch light .. 😂 this was my 3rd attempt...I'll...
Read moreWe recently moved to the area and saw this establishment and thought we would give it a try and we knew our efforts were about to fail when our shoes stuck to the floor near the hostess stand and this was not just us but the another group had mentioned this particular level of stickiness as well. We were seated quickly and the menu looked inviting, we ordered traditional wings they were cooked well done as we had asked and this was the highlight of our meal, the wings are supposed to be tossed and sauce this was doused in some form of garlic parmesan chemistry experiment. We also ordered the three cheeseburger as we are fans of smashburger as it turns out their definition of smashburger greatly differs from establishments such as Culver's where they take pride in creating crispy edges and a juicy center this burger neither had crispy edges nor a juicy center and the bun was from the lowest rung of the purveyors bread options. Our server handled our rejection of the burger well and she was compensated for her professionalism. Our server Ashley asked if we wanted to replace the burger with something else and we tried the boneless wings which were definitely again from the lowest rung of the food purveyors option list and they were cooked properly and...
