Bearscat Bakehouse - Minot — Restaurant in Minot

We have always been HUGE Bearscat Fans. Great customer service and wonderful donuts... For years its been a part of our Sat morning run when we are in town. However this visit was a big disappointment. We got there early so they wouldn't be sold out. We always ask for maple bismarcks with Bavarian Cream Filling. (They dont have them in the display), they have always made us 6-12 when we request them. This time we ordered 6 (and their Apple Fritters) she brought us out chocolate ones. I said, im sorry, we wanted maple. Another lady came out from kitchen and very loudly said, "we don't do special orders". I asked if this was something new as we had always been able to order these before?. "No, we never sell something that is not on the menu" This was in front of a room filled with other customers. I think everyone felt very uncomfortable & surprised by the rude response....

Bearscat came through for me on graduation party day! I ordered doughnuts from another business and they did not have them made though I ordered them weeks in advance. I called Bearskat and told them the situation and though their policy is to get large orders a day in advance, they got the several boxes of doughnuts ready for me so the party could go on! They were very kind and willing to work with me on super short notice. The doughnuts were amazing and this is my new go to for all doughnuts. I can't rave about them and their customer service enough!! You will not regret doughnuts that are so fresh and soft that they nearly melt in your mouth!! Thanks Bearscat for being a hero...

I stop by here every time I'm in town to visit my son. I have never had a bad experience and the donuts are always so yummy. I stopped by today to get 10 donuts, and was treated by a very rude employee. Not only did he have attitude to me, but also to the customer in front of me. Very condescending! Also, my favorite donut is the Bearscat. These looked nothing like they used to look like. It actually looked like poop. There was no glaze on it and it wasn't cooked properly. When I questioned him, he gave a snarky answer. I was very disappointed in this visit, and I hope next time it will be better. I have pictures, but I can't post them....
