I’ve been a loyal customer of Cold Stone for many years, and I’ve always loved both the ice cream and the customer service. Every time I visited in the past, I left happy and satisfied. However, I’m really disappointed to say that this is the second time this month that I’ve had a frustrating experience.
The main issue seems to be with the night shift team. The new employees aren’t being properly trained, and it really shows—especially when it comes to making shakes. I waited over 20 minutes just to place my order, and then had to wait another 20 minutes for one shake to be made. This kind of wait time is excessive, especially compared to how fast and efficient the service used to be.
It seems like the newer team members are being put on night shifts without enough support or guidance. I strongly suggest having a more experienced employee or supervisor present during those hours to help train and guide them. Otherwise, you risk losing loyal customers who genuinely want to keep coming back—but don’t feel it’s worth wasting money or time on a disappointing experience.
It’s unfortunate because Cold Stone has been a neighborhood favorite, but I really hope you’ll take this feedback seriously and improve the training process...

I ordered the size Everybody, which means a half gallon. I asked for strawberries. I honestly am not exaggerating, the person put 4 strawberries in the pile. I told her, to give me more strawberries and stop being stingy with them. The person looked at me and we had this Clint Eastwood stare down moment. The person put more strawberries in the pile. Then, the person put the top on the ice cream, and some of the ice cream was all over the sides. The person was about to put the half gallon right into a bag, I immediately asked the person to wipe off the sides. The person did. I paid, but then the person actually pointed out the tip section. Lol. Of course, I did not tip, in my mind, I had to give this person verbal tips the whole time. I think next time I will go to another location or go at a different time when I think this person...
Read moreFirst time at this location. Staff were friendly, patient, and attentive, especially Chris. I like the variety of flavors you can chose from and the many different toppings that they have. They have 3 sizes - like it (small), love it (medium) and gotta have it (large). Prices are a bit higher so if you planing to share, I recommend getting the biggest size cuz in comparison w the smallest, it’s just $2 more for doble the amount of ice cream.
