Had genuinely such an uncomfortable experience here on Friday night, I came at around 11:35 PM as I had just gotten off of work very late and my boyfriend wanted to treat me to some ice cream. From the moment we put our car into park, the lady working (middle aged woman) was giving us the nastiest looks, as she had already mopped the entire restaurant. (I work in food service and it’s common knowledge you wait till after closing to mop because potential customers could slip.) We then proceed to walk in, and I greeted the lady even though she was looking at me like I had just murdered someone lol. She didn’t respond to my greeting so I just went straight into my order. She then just looks at me blankly and goes “Hello!” …???? Like yes.. hello… I said hello to you and you literally ignored me. It was honestly just so bizarre. I’d understand if I came into the building at 11:55, but I was there over 20 minutes before the closing time ON THE DOOR.
If you don’t want to work late, get a different job. If you don’t want to be open till midnight, change the store hours. It’s not my problem that you are so miserable. I also work late hours but I would never treat my customers like that.
I’ve seen other reviews left on here that sound like they’re about the same lady. She needs to be taken off the night shift. She should honestly be fired for terrible...
Read moreLady at the counter has 0 idea of customer service. Not even a hello. I speak both English and Spanish and not once did she even speak for me to see what she understands. Awful service. Regular ice cream, nothing special yet overpriced to the moon. Never again.
Also I decided to stay and be on my computer since I paid $10 for a tiny ice cream and she is just staring at me while talking into her phone. If she has an issue with me staying here, she can walk up to me and politely tell me so yet I’m a customer and should be able to stay as long as I...
Read moreWent after dinner for some gelato. The female working the store was inattentive and I had to ask her 5 times which one was dairy free. I ended up getting raspberry and pineapple. The pineapple tasted like a juice box syrup and the raspberry had the taste of old freezer with soap. I got the regular cup and paid 11.70 for the what was 1 scoop of each flavor. Never again going back to this Freddo I was really disappointed. The one in Pembroke Garden is 100 times better in all ways.
Sorry but something’s got to give and change...
