Zuru Ramen! This bar was packed and booming with customers ready to be served Japanese Cuisine. I’ll be going over some foods we ate for today!

The Food was Fantastic but not out of this world. Overall Experience is a 8/10 with the ambiance lacking the most at 4/10. But mind you, we did sit outside since this was the grand opening for the Restaurant. We will definitely come back to try and grab a seat by the bar to talk with the chefs!

Onto business, we started off with the Shrimp Lollipops and Takoyaki. The lollipops were definitely a good size and the batter wasn't greasy at all, it was very light, my girlfriend hates fried foods but she definitely loved the batter. It was garnished with Pickled Ginger and rested on-top of spinach and lettuce leaves. We typically don’t like Tartar sauce but this sauce complemented the shrimp very well, it had green onions, made with kewpie and more than likely was also combined with yuzu soy sauce but nonetheless it was light and fragrant. It was definitely not too savory, not too heavy, and it felt almost refreshing with the subtle spiciness of the pickled ginger together. We rate it 8/10. The Takoyaki was savory, chewy and was rich in umami. However it was lacking in Octopus. The taste of the eggs, Bonito Flakes, kewpie, green onions and the soy sauce is always a great combination and welcoming mix however the whole premise of takoyaki is about “Octopus”. We both have had several Takoyaki’s from several locations and they always made sure to fill their little octopus balls with plenty of meat but these fell a bit short. Each ball had maybe one small piece which still wasn’t enough to even taste the meat.

My girlfriend and I both picked up the Tonkotsu and Mazesoba Ramen after our delicious appetizers. The folks were quite fast at serving our Ramen right after our appetizers! Our soups were served Steaming hot with appetizing and a nice aesthetic appearance you would typically see in anime like Shokugeki No Souma, Ponyo, or even Netflix’s new Flavors of Youth! The Mazesoba was a dry ramen but dont let that persuade you to not try this! This is one of the chef’s recommended dishes and I can see why! The Soup had a nice natural flavorful broth at the bottom of the bowl when mixed with all the ingredients, in one slurp, is heavenly. The flavors of the savory, saltiness of the fatty pork slices with the fried garlic, the crisp texture of the scallions and bean sprouts with the bardock, the chewiness of the menma make this dish such a balanced meal filled with the 5 different umami’s. Let’s not forget about the runny egg that felt as if I was bathing in an Onsen myself, it was runny and lightly salted. Eating this dish felt rejuvenating after eating every single bite of all the ingredients together. As for my girlfriend’s Tonkotsu, you can clearly tell they definitely put alot of time, care and nurturing love into their 18-Hour pork based bone broth that was as thick and smooth as milk but felt very light as if drinking a hot cup of tea on a nice warm afternoon. The same case applies here with the toppings which both enhances the flavors of one another and also creates another level of texture onto the soup. I won’t lie, I might’ve taken a couple slurps and bites out of her dish which almost made me order this ramen to go for lunch the next day. We rate both Ramens 8.5. While it had great flavor, it felt like it lacked a little extra ingredient that could’ve kicked it up a notch like some of the acidity from Yuzu or even a bit more of miso and shoyu into both the broths to enhance the flavor more.

After our side dishes and main course we were just stuffed but managed to squeeze in a Matcha Cheesecake that seemed extremely delicious and appetizing that we couldn’t even snap a shot of it. We realized our mistake of not taking a photo for y’all but man, this cheesecake was great! It wasn’t overloaded with sugar, the graham base was very crumbly and soft and the matcha wasn’t too overbearing! We rate this 9/10!

We hope this review gives a good judgement to...

It was my husbands and I first time coming to Zuru Ramen Bar. The restaurant was full when we arrived so we had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table. Once ready, they sat us inside. First off, the restaurant looks so cool inside. The lamps are beautiful and it was very clean. We started our meal with the Korean Chicken wings. The sauce on the wings was delicious but the wings lacked crunch. If the wings were battered, it would have made them so much better. We followed with the Pork belly Bao buns. I am a huge fan of those so I was super excited to have them. Unfortunately, it lacked flavor. The bun was soft but it was missing a pickled salad to give it texture. Lastly, we ordered the spicy and original Tonkotsu Ramens. The broth was nice but the noodles didn’t feel like traditional ramen noodles. They did not feel homemade. We did order a Taro milk tea to-go with no ice and we received our drink 3/4 full. Not sure why. Luckily, the staff was nice and they made sure they picked up our plates in a timely manner. We want to give this place a second shot but are not sure if that will be...

So it happened that my husband and children loved that new place here in Miramar since they love ramen. They asked to go for two Boba Teas…went there and the server asked to tap my card. Perfect! So following after that she asked to sit down, and since are two Boba teas I decided to wait and go to the restroom. When I came back I a transaction open with tips but without a signature but I never thought was mine because, again the server never told to sign or anything like that. Left the restaurant with my two drinks and I got a notification from my bank with a higher amount that the one I paid. I called and the server said that thats it’s automatic. What?!!! Without my signature? Long story short…I talked to a manager that lie about her name twice 🙄 Gloria and then Claudia, because I noticed she is very inexperience in this kind of situation and the way so unprofessional she was talkin over me I asked for her manager name and she said she can’t disclose it 😵‍💫. So unfortunately I had to go through the disappointment of finding out server employees are adding tips that they...

Great little restaurant for Japanese ramen. Friendly staff and quick service. We tried 4 different ramen dishes and all were delicious, reminded my wife and I of restaurants in Japan. The gyoza was fresh and the real Kalimari was the first we seen just about anywhere in the states. The service was fantastic and it was busy so they did well. The portions were good and fair for the price for Miami and they have military discount. The interior decorator did a fantastic job with making it look like a real Japanese restaurant, great woodwork. The pictures were all Japanese which was really nice. The restrooms were clean and decorated with Japanese wall work. The only thing we found not adding to the atmosphere was the music, it was all in English and hard rock not Japanese but that does not keep this food place from getting 5 stars, later we hear some more mellow rock. Nice detail on everything seen and great tasting food. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

A Cozy Slice of Japan – ZURU Ramen Bar I recently visited ZURU Ramen Bar, and from the moment I walked in, I was transported back to my trip to Japan. The warm and cozy atmosphere makes you feel like you're dining at a hidden gem tucked away in the streets of Tokyo. 🌸 The servers here are incredibly friendly and welcoming! 😊 They made me feel right at home, taking the time to explain the menu and offering recommendations with genuine enthusiasm. It really added to the authentic experience. As for the food, it’s nothing short of spectacular. 🍜 The ramen was rich and flavorful, just like I remembered from my travels. The sushi was fresh, and each dish was crafted with care and precision. It truly feels like a trip down memory lane! If you're craving authentic Japanese flavors and a warm, inviting environment, ZURU Ramen Bar is the perfect spot. I can't recommend it enough!
