I come to this location almost nightly Monday - Friday; my order the same everytime, a 6 PC kids meal with apple slices, frozen Hawaiian punch, ketchup and a large sweet tea. I used to absolutely love this location there was always a smiling, warm welcome and my order always correct! I've even complimented this to a gentleman manager previously.
This was my first week back in 2 weeks due to the flu. Yesterday, my tea tasted like water. I didn't notice until I left so I didn't saw anything, besides everyone is entitled to an off day. Today, same exact order. I pay and the amount was different, I asked why the gentleman taking my money giggled and said "I wasn't here yesterday. You can look at your receipt." I head to the next window to get my food. The woman hands me everything I asked for ketchup. When she went to grab it I opened th happy meal to find no apples & an extra fry. I handed the box back letting the woman know that it was supposed to be apple not extra fries. She took the box back and asked someone for apples. She then came back to me and said "no apples" I asked her "why was I not told that when I ordered?" To be honest I would have ordered something else had I been told that.
The woman walked away and asked someone to come to the window to tell me there wasn't any apples. The woman comes and says "Mami, there is no more apples slices." I said "I know. I want to know why I wasn't told that..." before I could finish she walked away and another woman was called.
This woman tells me again there isn't any apples slices and honestly I was fed up with not being heard as the customer so I did have an attitude at this point. I said to the woman "I'm aware there are no apple slices. You are the 3rd person to tell me this..." before finishing she cuts me off and tells me I was just told to come here and tell you there aren't any apple slices, I don't what you've been told and your being rude to me." After she was finished I stated "understand as a manager where I'm coming from as a frustrated customer. I've had 3 people now come to tell me the same exact thing and not one person has actually listened to what I've said. Now cam you listen to what I'm saying?" She stared at me like a deer in head lights, to the point where I asked if she could hear me bc she wasn't responding to me. She was like yeah go ahead I don't what to tell you I have no apples. Again not hearing her customer. I expressed how dissatisfied I was with the service and that I wouldn't be coming back. I asked her to hand me the box of food that had been sitting on the counter. She proceeded to tell me it wasn't mine while one of her employees screamed "KAREN! YOURS A KAREN!" from next to her.
Was I visibility frustrated absolutely! 1 employee and 2 managers didn't hear one word that I was speaking. Then the manager argued with me as to weather my happy meal was my happy meal. I did not curse, I did not yell and I even used please when asking for my food back. For someone to scream Karen and the manager not even be care about the actions of theirs elves and the employees is absolutely inexcusable. My son heard this employee call me a derogatory remark and that is a level of unprofessionalism that I didn't actually think would take place in a location I genuinely loved going to. Read moreI came in here so my son can have breakfast like we normally do. I’m a regular at this location. This new morning manager that they’ve promoted is rude. Very disrespectful. He doesn’t have the face for any type of customer service. He always looks angry. He never says good morning. He always look at you with a debt there asking what do you want? Never how can I help you… This is a very unsanitary complaint as we were eating. The cleaning lady decided to start mopping at our table. We could smell the dirty mop as my son was eating and we asked her to stop. She continue to mop around, this was early in the morning. The store had just opened. You could see her cleaning the entire location. Normally these procedures are done before the opening of the store. Cleaning is done before the store opens not as the customers are walking in early in the morning and when I brought it up to the manager, he looked at me, laughed at me and very sarcastically told me that she has to clean. What is she supposed to do? I’m sure if I bring this up to the department of health this is not going to be very settling for you, I urge you to investigate this man because he most definitely is extremely rude and disrespectful. Read moreSo the only reason I'm giving this place a 2 star instead of 1 is because I've never had a problem until 1:45am on August 10th 2023... Not only was my online order not fulfilled because the employee proceeds to bluntly tell me they turned off the ice cream machine but upon getting my order and reaching home to find out what was supposed to be Sprite is far from that, so I processed to drive back which means now McDonald's in Palms has now wasted 20mins of my time... So I simply asked Mr. Erik who's behavior made it seem like he must be the manager, if I could at least get 1 complementary Apple Pie for my time and Mr. Erik proceeds to stick his head of the drive thru window and firmly says uhhh noooo... Now younger me would of responded differently but I took his answer and said no problem... Because if I was a hot Latina girl, I'd get that Apple Pie bcz it's not like one Apple Pie was going to cause McDonald's to go out of business and I'd feel better as a happy customer to know that McDonald's employees thinks highly and actually value their customers wasted time...
