I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience at your Miramar, FL location. 11225 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, FL 33025. As a frequent customer, I have never had an issue like this before, and I feel completely let down by how my concern was handled.
On Thursday evening, 2/20, I visited the store and ordered the same acai bowl I get every time since opening. However, when I arrived home and began eating it, I immediately noticed that it wasn’t blended properly, it was grainy, bland, and even had a bitter taste in some parts. Naturally, I called the store to report the issue and expected a reasonable response.
The young lady who answered the phone barely acknowledged my complaint, answering with a simple "hello" and no indication she was at work. After confirming I had the right number, I explained the situation to her, and she promised to have the manager reach out to me. I gave her my contact information and waited for a response.
Two days passed with no follow-up from the manager. Frustrated, I went into the store to speak with someone in person. When I finally met the manager, she acknowledged that she knew I had called, but I was stunned to find that she hadn’t bothered to return my call or look into the matter herself. I had to explain the situation again, and when I requested that the bowl be remade as a courtesy, the manager refused. Instead, she insisted that I pay again, offering a 10-20% discount, claiming she couldn’t trust my description of the problem since she hadn’t seen the bowl herself. This response is entirely unacceptable.
As a loyal customer, I expected better service and professionalism. I should not have to chase down the store to resolve an issue that was clearly your fault. I am requesting a full refund or a proper resolution for this matter. I trust that you will take my complaint seriously and address...
Read moreYesterday was the worst experience I’ve ever had at Robeks. I placed my order via their App so that quickly grab it and go, but once I arrived (20 mins later), I had to wait for the 2 small juices to be made. When I walked in, all 3 employees were standing around talking to one another, but the male employee did at least look up and say “welcome” and came over to assist me. I told him I ordered online and my name and he placed my “avocado and egg toast” (which was ready) on the counter in front of me. I looked down and was instantly disappointed. But he asked, “is that it?” so, I said no and told him I’d ordered two small juices also. He walked over to the area where the juices are prepared and apparently saw my receipt sitting there but no juices, so he says something to one of the female employees and she rushes over to make them. I asked if they weren’t already prepared as I’d ordered them 20 mins prior and was advised they won’t take long to make. I was the only customer inside, and since they had time to stand around doing nothing, I assumed they weren’t overwhelmed with online or call-in orders either, so I was frustrated and confused as to why my little order wasn’t already ready, and why my toast looked haphazardly thrown together. I had to even ASK for a bag for my toast. I was underwhelmed with my entire experience, from the customer service to the presentation and taste and won’t be retuning unless I’m in dire straits. The reason for two stars was because the girl that packed my order was as very...
Read moreI don't know what was worse—the food, the service, or the fact that I paid actual money for this disaster. Walking in, the vibe was less “cozy eatery” and more “abandoned cafeteria.” The tables were sticky, the floor was suspicious, and the staff looked like they’d lost a bet and were being forced to work there.
I ordered something simple, thinking they couldn’t possibly mess it up. I was wrong. It tasted like sadness, cardboard, and regret. I wouldn’t feed that to a raccoon. Everything was either undercooked, overcooked, or somehow both. One bite and I seriously considered reporting a crime.
Our server (Valeria ) acted like our presence was a personal inconvenience. No eye contact, no refills, no care whatsoever. If I wanted to feel ignored and disappointed, I’d go talk to my ex.
Final thought: if you’re thinking about eating here—don’t. Go home. Eat cereal. Lick a sidewalk. It’ll be a...
