Went in about a week ago, I’ve been going in since December-ish of 2021 and each time it gets better and better. I had Crosby (Crosbie?) a couple of times (turns out he leaves for the summer) but when I found out he was back I was excited and immediately requested him, best server I think I’ve ever had, as soon as my drink got half way empty he was already back with a refill, brought warm bread the second we ran out, we never even had the chance to ask him for anything because he was so on top of it, on top of that he is always so personable and happy and such a big smile. Never fails to make us laugh. He even bought us a caramel apple cheesecake because our daughter just had gotten out of the hospital and he wanted us to give it to her. It was a Monday or Tuesday so it wasn’t extremely busy, they had a lot of staff so you could tell waiters were running out of things to do because business wasn’t matching how many people were there, so lots of staff was just standing there doing nothing, but not crosby, he was constantly running around with dishes and helping everyone out, bringing out food to it seems every table, I usually don’t write reviews but after seeing crosbys hard work and smile again I decided it’s the least I could do to give him some recognition, especially after he said he doesn’t get recognized much for his hard but just does it to help out his staff and customers, it melted my heart, truly if you go in request crosby and you will receive the best service of your life. All that said the food is so GOOD 10/10 every single time. Their sweet tea is delicious (I think I had 5 haha) and I ordered the pollo Rosa Maria this past time and it was honestly the best chicken I have ever had, the broccoli was good as well, and their chicken noodle soup is always good, I might have to try a salad soon though. Thank you crosby...
Read moreThis place is amazing as its ever been. Recently grandma came up with a 15% coupon for this place. I have been trying to get her to go forever but my parents spooked her by saying it was expensive.
We were sat immediately and they went out of their way to put us in a booth in the bar because grandma uses a walker. The bartender was also our waitress she greeted us very quickly and made sure our drinks were never empty.
I ordered the calamari and when i asked for both sauces the waitress informed me they don't have the ricardo anymore, but they might be able to make a close replicate of it. Sure enough it came through and was very close.
We each ordered an appetizer with soup. Grandmas minestrone was brimming and very hearty. Unfortunately my lentil was pretty skimpy and that was my only complaint, that the cup of soup was small and maybe half full.
I ordered the mezzaluna and it was as good as i remember. Grandma ordered the prosciutto pork tenderloins with fettuccine alfredo. She absolutely loved it and said she wished the portion size was bigger, but she is quite the eater.
We also were served several orders of fresh bread and had no problems getting butter, oil, and cheese for the topping. Also, crushed red pepper was brought to me right away when asked for on my soup unlike an italian competitor that couldn't;t find the shaker.
Grandma is already planning her next trip and asked me to sign up for the dine-in club so we can get a discount every fourth meal and a free...
Read moreI ordinarily do not take the time to write reviews, but there are always the few! ( Our horrible experience lasted over an hour and a half.)
We came in for the first time for lunch on Saturday, 1/4/25 at 11:00 AM. There were at least 8 crew members there and we were the first patrons. I will not comment on the server, who was great, by the way, or the atmosphere as it looked as though the restaurant has always been well-received. My wife actually recommended it as she had been here years ago. The server was very polite but seemed to lack the confidence and knowledge to ask the manager about concerns the patron may have. Unfortunately, our experience deteriorated from that moment. The bread came to us perfectly but the soup was only barely warm. We asked that it be taken back and reheated. The soup, was indeed the best part of our experience after it was heated! We ordered the (Classic Trio), and a grilled shrimp with with pasta dinner). It came out cold and extremely BLAND! Our food then came which was again cold to luke warm. The food was terrible and we had planned on ordering a take- home but thought it best not too. Extremely disappointed. We will never come back here again after paying...
