I went in last night and ordered 3 sandwiches . All where messed up . One had a hair in it . The second one I paid for extra avo and did not get extra avo . And the third sandwich I asked for something as simple as leave bread in and of course they took it out . I wasn’t even greeted or felt welcome by the 3 employees . I had to ask them to number my sandwiches I had to ask for a bag for my food . I have friends who manage other jimmy johns in the area , friends who work at other jimmy johns through out the country and I am also an ex employee of the old Ironwood location . The food wasn’t even freaky fast ...... I did have an issue with my card holder while paying and had to step out and ask the person I was with to cover the cost for me so there was a slight mix up on my end but I did pay . They seemed to be more worried about me paying them than they where while making my food . This was also the first time my boyfriend had ever eaten jimmy johns and of course his sandwich was the one with a hair in it . I hate complaining but me knowing jimmy johns protocol and how service SHOULD BE I feel like sharing my experience at this location today . And no I didn’t call in because by the time we ate our food it was 8 o’clock and we where sharing our great news of the gender of our baby to come with friends and family so I didn’t want to ruin the moment anymore by complaining to someone over the phone when I knew I had no way to bringing my food back in but I’ll call tomorrow in hopes of reaching someone who cares . I’d skip this location though and go to the ND location or downtown south bend location if you are able . I still have my boyfriends half eaten sandwich because he stopped after he had to dig the hair out of his mouth and I know they can look on their camera to see my bread being thrown out after I simply requested to have my bread left in if they truley where concerned and want to validate my visit . so I really hope someone will care enough to make this right .. this is a sandwich shop and the only food they make are these sandwiches it really shouldn’t even be that hard . I also asked if the number 17 had bacon and ham on it and the girl at the register stood there not knowing and had to ask someone . I know I had to take a test listing all ingredients of the sandwiches and so has everyone else I know who works there so that Just shows the employees I encountered just didn’t seem to care about their job

Read moreThe young female? with the glasses and tattoos is pretty rude. Your typical introvert attitude. The manager should monitor the workers and give the younger generation feedback on how to acknowledge customers. This is a customer oriented place. I didn’t realize that lettuce came on the sandwich. I realized and just asked if she could dump the lettuce off (she/he/they/them/whatever) while they were still making it. They dumped it off, but gave no response. I told them I was sorry about that as I felt I upset them. Still no response. Handed me my sandwich and walked away. I don’t expect to have a full blown conversation with them, but at least respond. Is it that hard to do?
I’ll avoid this location...
Read moreI live 1.6 miles from the jimmy johns on McKinley and I called in an order for my 2 kids and myself and paid for it with my credit card. 15 minutes later the manager calls me and tells me that they only deliver within a 1 mile radius and refuses to deliver to my house. Meanwhile my kids will have to wait for me to figure something else out for dinner even though I promised them sandwiches. The manager was very cold about the whole situation and blamed it on corporate saying they had plenty of business and didnt need mine. I am left to cook after 14 hours of work because jimmy johns refuses to drive an xtra...
