Warm and cozy atmosphere. Delicious food!

Started with a lime jarrito for hubby and mike’s hard lemonade for me. It was a little loud but not disturbingly so. The spinach artichoke dip was our appetizer and it was really good. The dip was very different and reminded me of a ranch veggie dip with spinach and artichoke added in. The free chips were warm and the salsa had a little spice to it but tasted more like marinara in a good way and no heart burn from it. Used the chips to finish eating our spinach dip because there weren’t a ton of chips with the dip. I was glad because it would have felt wasteful with too many chips at the table.

I got the veggie fajitas with no beans or tortillas because I just like the inside stuff. Should have added chicken like I usually do but I hesitated and stuck with just veggies. Still very yummy just would have been even tastier and more substantial with chicken added. The Spanish rice was good and tasted very homemade. Still not my favorite rice ever but it was very good. (I think most places use short grain rice and theirs was long grain which was a good kind of different).

Hubby got burrito campechano and loved it but said it was very filling in comparison to the typical wet burrito dish he likes to get at other restaurants.

We finished up with the apple chimichanga to share for dessert. It was soooo good! In the past I used to love apple pancakes but have since decided I no longer like pancakes. This was similar with the apples in a cinnamon glaze but wrapped in a fried tortilla which means I have a way to get my apple dessert fix without the pancakes now! It was so good just with the tortilla and apples I almost forgot to try it with the whipped cream and ice cream. The textures and flavors were so wonderful together it’ll be in my sweet dreams tonight for sure :)

About $43 for everything before tip makes this one of the most affordable, delicious, and all around best experiences we’ve...

I have attempted to order from this restaurant 3 times. One time I went inside to order and no one helped me even though a few people made eye contact with me. There was a table of employees wrapping silverware right by me, 4 servers that walked by taking care of others, and 2 employees/servers at the register area. After several minutes of waiting I asked for help and they said someone would be right with me. After 5 more minutes of waiting, I left.

I have also attempted twice to call to place an order. I have dialed at least 6 times and the phone just rings until it stops. I confirmed on Google and on their sign that I had the right number. I don't understand why this keeps happening. If I hadn't tried multiple times I wouldn't have left a poor review. If I am ever able to try this restaurant I will update because I don't like to leave...

I came in here on taco Wednesday. Their tacos are $1.25 that day. But I had ordered 3 tacos and some horchata to drink. The horchata was pretty good, the tacos weren’t as good as I thought they would be. It was two average size tortillas with a little bit of meat in it. The meat was pretty good though, I had Al pastor and chorizo. The tortillas were a bit undercooked or maybe just a bit too greasy. They weren’t the best tacos I’ve ever had. Their tortilla chips and salsa were very good. Besides that they do have other delicious food platters that you should definitely try. The service was good, the waitresses were friendly and attentive. I don’t see myself coming back again anytime soon but If I do I definitely won’t be eating...

Puerto Vallarta is a pretty standard Mexican restaurant. They have a seemingly infinite number of options that are different combinations of the same core ingredients. The food itself is good. If you’re craving Mexican food, this will definitely hit the spot. Prices are low enough that you can feed 2 people for under $20 and still have leftovers. The biggest detriment here is the service. It is very slow. We sat with empty plates for 10 minutes before somebody came by and asked if we wanted the check. Maybe that’s a ploy to let you get hungry enough for dessert or maybe that’s just bad service; I don’t know. Overall, it left a bad taste after a good meal.

Service was not Great, and it was almost bad where i gave this restaurant a bad review. But once the waitress finally took our order and brought us food, almost every bad word I said I had forgotten about. If this Restaurant has one thing going for them that is the quality of their food. But the service could be improved. If the service gets any better, or who knows if i ever go on a day service happens to have a better team this would change to a 5 star review. But for now solid 4 stars
