First and foremost, this was the worst birthday experience I've had in my life. Chuck E Cheese can do better than Sky Zone Mishawaka... The place was extremely dirty, garbage left on tables, no one cleans.
The employees, especially the manager CiCi/Cecilia, were undeniably rude. For no reason what so ever, and the manager approached me "we're going to need a payment upfront, they just told me you weren't going to pay", after I just explained to the young employees at the reservation desk, that the father of my children will be paying for it, even though he was not there. I told Cecilia it was incredibly rude to come up to me and say that, after I just explained I could pay ahead of time, I just needed someone to send me the link... Which I then asked the young employees.. again, to send me the link, after the altercation with Cecilia/CiCi. So I could pay for it before we started, which I did.
The night ended with violence, cops showed up due to 2 men fighting in the food area. They were throwing chairs, tables and had pinned each other to the ground. Not a single employee tried to deescalate the situation or stop the fight, they all went down to watch, leaving children unattended. Sky Zone should probably invest in an "on site" security guard or bouncer.. And we all felt scared for our lives, because we were afraid to get shot. So we were waiting to hear that it was safe to exit.. which never happened. That should probably be in the employee training, going forward.
Lastly, every single food item bought, was cold. There were multiple people at the food stand complaining about everything they ordered, being cold. And the zip line is out of order, which no one disclosed when booking or checking in.
I will never return to Sky Zone, nor will the parents and children that were with me and also experienced this. $450 wasted.. Do not recommend! And please do not waste your money on a party package. I was told over the phone we'd have 2 hours to jump, but we only had about 40 minutes after the manager wanted to act like a fool infront of everyone. Which she did again during the physical altercation that resulted in police.
We stayed as long as we could, because I was informed we'd have a 2 hour jump time and 1 hour for the party room. Which was not what actually happened. We paid $31 dollars per person to get exposed to people we should have never encountered. Yet your manager went thru an investigation with me but never returned for the others that should've never been allowed entry..
I never leave bad reviews, but after this experience, I felt like I needed to put out a warning for other parents. I'm surprised the health department hasn't shut this place down.. honestly. I'm extremely upset with everything and I'm writing a review to warn others.
I've already reached out to HR, and I will report to BBB/health department as well. I wish I took videos and pictures of the chaos and filth, but I only captured a few good...
Read moreFirst impression when I walked in was it smelled like stinky feet and the humidity was off the charts! My friend's glasses instantly fogged up when she walked in, and it was difficult to breathe the air was so thick in there. Four of us went to Sky jam on a Saturday night from 10pm-11:30 pm. The children were supposed to leave by 10, but the place was still crawling with them. The reason we decided to do sky jam was that it was 16+, and we got free Pizza and Pop. We jumped for a little while, and one of the people in my party ended up hurting himself, and the only thing the staff member in that section said was "you can't sit here, go sit somewhere else" when clearly he was injured, he just cared about getting him out of there. We decided to then go and get our pizza and pop, and when we checked in, we were told we get a soft drink and two pieces of pizza. We got to the snack bar counter, and it was impossible to get someone to come over and wait on us, but when we did we were informed that their pop machine was down and all they had was water. So, we asked if we could have a substitution of a gatorade or water bottle that was in the case next to the soda fountain. The girl working the counter, who was obviously 16, because she had a terrible attitude, said no, so we asked if we were going to get a refund or compensation, and she just shook her head, and said technically we didn't pay for it, so it didn't matter. So we said fine, and took our tap water, then they went and got the pizza, and the slices were maybe two inches wide (at the crust) and we got two, so it was like half of a normal slice of pizza, but they called it two pieces. It was rubbery, and cold nonetheless. Then, the kids behind us in line asked for their pop, and the girl said the machine was down, and he asked for a drink in the case, and she happily gave it to him. It was very hard to get out of the foam pit once in there, and none of the staff was not professional at all. This place needs a deep clean and a revamp of it's employees. You also had to pay for a locker, or leave your stuff on a rack next to the lockers after paying the high prices of breathing in pea...
Read moreWe had my neices birthday party here on Saturday 1/13/18. This was our second yr having it here, we also had it here last yr and even though it was pricey it was worth it for the kids. So we returned this year. My neices brother who is 3 attended the party we asked if we let him jump if there was a area for younger kids and we were told yes. We were already at the limit for the party size of 15 we pd the extra money for him, a few more kids showed up late and we paid for them as well. It was our jump time the older kids went to their area and my sister took my nephew to the younger kid area everything was fine for a whike till that boy left and was replaced by a girl who then let all types of older kids in who was not considerate of a young toddler jumping that she had to leave with him. It came time for our party time and they were taking us upstairs we tokd the girl my father who raises her was unable to walk up stairs and my husband just had surgery on his foot and is non weight bearing and uses a knee scooter also could not walk up a flight of stairs. We did not know there was party rooms up there as the yr before we had the party on the main floor. We asked if there was a elevator for the upstairs for those two we were told no. They could not accommodate us at all and refused to allow us to use the party room on the main floor because we had more than 10 kids even though the two main people in her life could now not attend. So after spending $399 for her party, bringing a DQ ice cream cake that cost $30 and melted while trying to get the down stairs room and my father and husband not being able to attend they refunded $67 for the inconvenience. That was nothing compared to the man she calls father not being able to attend. We will not go back and we will not continue to have parties here and if ever invited to one we...
