Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Mission Viejo

I guess just giving a one star without explanation got the attention of this business so I will give an explanation now. About a week or two ago, I went in and at least 3 employees looked at me while I was at the front counter but didn't say anything to me and kept walking away. I was the only one at the counter so they all looked me in the eyes at least once before walking away from me. One chose to roll her eyes at me slightly before she walked away. When someone did talk to me, they couldn't find my order. When they did find the missing ticket, they found that they never made it and complained about it in spanish. They continued complaining to eachother in spanish with an attitude while making the order. I can only assume that I didn't look spanish due to my complexion, so they probably thought I couldn't understand them. Once they gave me the order, I tried asking a question to the employee and he mumbled like he didn't understand me and walked away. There was an item missing from my order so I started to get a bit irritated so I left without the extra item. As I was walking out, they made one last snarcky remark to eachother about me. It made me feel unwelcomed and made my experience uncomfortable. This was my first time trying this restaurant so it gave me a bad first impression. It's a jack in the box, so I'm not here reviewing jack in the box food. Go look elsewhere if you want that. Although I will say that the food was cooked to the ideal standard for what Jack in the Box customers should expect.

I went in here during a massive rainstorm that suddenly came out of no where while I was getting my car repaired next door. I came in here to get food and wait for my car. I got the crispy chicken sandwich meal. It was totally fine.

I love the soda machine for having my Diet Coke lime ginger available since they have that machine that has like 100 combinations of syrups to make the drink you want. The staff was nice because I didn't know what I wanted. Granted it was empty at that moment so it would be weird if they rushed me. They were totally nice. I was there well after my meal was finished waiting out the rain and my car repair. No one bothered me. Overall great experience. I don't normally eat Jack in the Box or fast food in general so I was very pleased that it was not so over greasy that i later regretted it since I wasn't used to eating that way.

The restaurant was very clean even though they were crowded. They had an employee keeping the dining area clean during the crowded time of day. (Even the bathrooms were clean and well stocked!) We came at 12:40, we had 5 people in our group. My daughter and her 2 boys are 7 & 9 and my 16 year old granddaughter. We had chicken terriyaki, tacos, burgers, a breakfast jack, french fries, onion rings, and spring rolls, milk, and iced tea. When the 7 year old spilled his milk, the manager came over with a new one for him at no charge! Everyone here was friendly and treated the kids like family. The food was hot and prepared perfectly! My favorite thing is that we can get a breakfast jack in the middle of the day!! My daughter's 9 year old came from an abusive home and has a lot of disabilities because of this.
