they are absolutely unprofessional. We made it through the door at 8:12, and she stated that a couple was leaving and then we would be seated. 2 hours later….. my family of 10 came in to eat for my sisters prom night and my sister told them that the food was basically uncooked and it was supposed to be fried…. now she took the food and just said she’ll remake it and take ALL the sauce off and my sister stated that she would rather not do that because it would then have no taste at all. She insisted on remaking it, she then brought it back and it was the EXACT same plate just scraped everything off. Once I told her that she didn’t like the new plate she went ballistic and said “PAY YOUR BILL AND LEAVE” as if no one was going to pay at all. it began to become a full blown argument with her saying that we don’t need to come to establishments and say we don’t like the food. We asked if monty was there because initially she was very nice and kept talking about him, but she said he was cooking. Now she said she was cooking right? well once we paid we asked if we could speak to monty and she said he was on a conference call…. at that point I couldn’t do anything but laugh because it was one waitress, her which maybe was the hostess and no monty. This place is nothing but a EMPTY, weird and unprofessional establishment All in all it was 10 of us that was super hungry and only one KID ate his fries. I, nor anyone of us will be back. THIS IS THE FACE BEHIND IT ALL☠️☠️☠️

I would give this place zero stars if I could! By far the worst dining experience I've had in a LONG time! We had reservations for 7 and waited until 730 without being greeted as there appeared no hostess and the waitress I asked about my reservations was clueless. My husband ordered the pasta and the sauce was like straight water...no flavor. We sent it back and had them take it off the bill. I ordered the Cajun ribeye medium rare. Version one came out well done so I sent it back. My husband and I decided to split Version two since we sent his pasta back. Version two was straight raw (cold center) and so fatty you could barely chew it. After reluctantly paying for it we left almost the entire steak on the plates. The server did not attempt to or even offer to remove it from the bill and a manager never came out to address the food send back as most restaurants will do. I don't see this place being opened all that long. SO Disappointed 😞

It was coated with a paste of seasonings so thick that the flavor of the steak didn't even resemble steak. The filet was the only edible dish out of the 3. They also put veggies and potatoes swimming down in the steak "sauce" (not packaged separately, since $140 apparently doesn't buy you adequate to-go containers) such that everything was soaked. With regard to the chicken dish that was rotten, I called and told them, but their only solution was to drive back there (and spend another 30 minutes) in order to get a replacement dish rather than partially refund for their shortcomings. No thanks.

I can not say enough how much to save your money …. Went in at 7 and didn’t get water for 30 minutes. Tablecloth was disgusting full of stains as what the paper menu that looked like it came of a normal printer. Not one to complain or leave reviews at all I understand owning a business is extremely hard. My glass had lipstick stains on it from a previous guest as if it wasn’t even washed at all . The server was the only thing decent about this place. Food finally came out about an hour and a half after we ordered and when I tell you the smell was rancid it was horrible. I thought maybe it was the sauce and decided to try a bite not to be rude. I got the veal Monte and took a bite and started gagging. It had to be spoiled. My fiancé got chicken Parmesan and it wasn’t nearly as bad but you could tell it was ruined as well . We asked for to go boxes immediately and the check as to not be rude, because the server was kind. My fiancé stepped outside and ordered Amore to go on the phone and luckily they squeezed us in. I got home and have been throwing up ever since. The food was 90$ which is way to much for hot garbage. Captain D’s has better reviews if that says anything . Seriously save your money I have no idea how this place...

Monte’s staff stole from my husband and I at the Byram location. Back in December we went to Monte’s in Byram for a Christmas work dinner. There was only one other party in the restaurant the entire time we were there. We waited over an hour (almost 2) for our food. Some people in our party decided to leave before our food even came out. When the food did come out it was cold and almost inedible. My husband’s boss picked up the tab for our food and responsible for tipping our waitress. We were only responsible for our alcoholic beverages. We did order a couple of drinks while we were there so our tab was about $20. We paid our tab and left. The next day my husband got a notification on his credit card for $30. The waitress added a $10 tip after we left. My husband called and spoke to Monte and he admitted this is what happened. He offered to make it right and send us a gift card for a dinner for 2 at the Brandon location. Now 2 months later we never heard back from Monte or received anything. I would be careful if you decide to...
