Catfish Willy's — Restaurant in Missouri City

I’ve been a customer for a few years. As a black business it’s a disservice to the underrepresented community to be late opening or don’t open at all. Arriving whenever you want and look as if you the customer is wrong for having expectations. I waste my lunch time waiting for the owner to show up to learn she was sitting in her car next to me on the phone for 20 min. when I could’ve spent my time and money elsewhere. The food is okay, but not great. The restaurant is so uninviting, dusty and smells weird. I like to support black business, but this is the stereotypical behavior we try to eliminate! This is not a good representation of black businesses. So unfortunate a lot of missed opportunities. If the owner doesn’t care.....

The catfish is not real catfish. The fish was salty, fried hard, and it didn't have much meat in the inside. I'm visiting from Dallas Tx and staying in Seabrook Tx. We drove 45 minutes in the heavy rain THINKING we're going to CATFISH. BOY WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. When we got there I looked at the reviews and seen all the bad rates. I ask the girl if it was real catfish and she said yes but she also have another name for the catfish. I was hesitant but since we drove so far and was hungry we placed the ordered. WORD OF ADVISE WHENEVER SOMEONE GIVE YOU ANOTHER NAME FOR SOME CATFISH IT'S NOT CATFISH... it was an horrible exprience... Never again will...

NOT GOOD AT ALL,I HAD 2 CATFISH FILLETS,3 SHRIMP WHICH WERE SUPPOSED TO BE JUMBO,AND FRIED CORN ON THE COB,CORN MEAL EVERY WHERE,NOT TASTY AT ALL,FRIED TOO HARD,THE CORN WAS ACTUALLY COOKED IN THE SAME GREASE AS THE FISH & SHRIMP,I DID NOT KNOW THAT’S WHAT THEY MEANT WHEN THEY SAID FRIED CORN,FRIED CORN WHERE I COME FROM IS FRIED IN A PAN,I AM NOT FROM TEXAS,BUT I WILL NEVER GO TO CATFISH WILLY’S AGAIN,I AM ANGRY THAT I SPENT 20.00 ON A GARBAGE MEAL, WOW AND MY FAMILY IS IN THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS, SO I KNOW THIS FOOD WAS NOT...
