There is a man who works here who is older, wears glasses, who slicks his shorter hair back. Unfortunately he has never worn a name tag so I can't mention his name. I've been here several times, and he is as rude as can be. Short, curt, and almost on the line of being aggressive. No greeting, no goodbye, acts like he hates his position.
Additionally - the line here has been excessive each time I've come with only one person ringing the till. You can barely find a spot to park at all times. When you have business like that it clearly warrants more help, there's no reason the company can't afford it. As someone who has managed world class truck stops most of my life - I know the profit margins on these places, it's a company being cheap.
All of that said I have a Walmart+ membership where I can not only save 10¢ per gallon of fuel, but can also schedule a pickup of any additional items I need, pay a fraction of the price you would pay at a convenience store, a much bigger selection, and never have to leave my vehicle and deal with the absurd crowds of this understaffed non-caring store. Walmart is directly across the street and is easier to get in/out of than this location.
Your competition is tough. I'd rather do the aforementioned than continue shopping here. I've given it multiple chances now and this seems to always be the case. I fully believe each of the other relevant negative reviews because it's what I've experienced as well.
Absurd. Please do better. You have the pleasure of serving the community around you and receiving a profit and you act like it's a problem? Casey's should do better, and this store's management should care more, and even the subordinate level help all need to step it up.
One final thing the restrooms are disgusting. Makes me wonder how their kitchen isn't in violation of local food...
Read moreI came in the store about 5:40 pm Christmas Eve and made myself a Frappuccino. I returned to my vehicle and showed my wife what we could make ourselves, she told me what flavors she would've gotten. To make sure she had time to get one the way she'd like, I ran inside and asked what time they were closing (6). So I quickly ran over to the iced coffee section and made my wife her Frappuccino before they closed. I proceeded to the counter to pay. Now I had my coffee (halfway gone at this point and the ice cream had melted) still in hand when I came in to make hers. Once the cashier seen my second cup she makes a snarky remark about how I should've been charged for 2. She thought i refilled my cup while making my wifes and didnt believe me when i said i had not. I even had to go as far as showing the second cashier that the ice cream in the half empty cup was melted and that the one I'd just paid for was far from melting before the first cashier reluctantly, and while rolling her eyes, told me to have a good night. To be accused of being a thief and her still implying my cup was empty upon re-entry, even after showing the proof as the first cup was all melted, was the most embarrassing thing I've ever encountered in a store. On Christmas Eve of all days. It was clear as day that I had not refilled the cup and instead of apologizing when I made her aware that her accusations were ridiculous and entirely implausible she was rude and snarky and felt the need to embarrass me in front of the entire store. I love Casey's iced coffee and buy one everyday, now because of the rudeness of your employees, I will not be back. Kum n go iced coffee will have to do...
Read moreWe've enjoyed Casey's pizzas, sandwiches and other food items for years. The north one in Republic seemed to always have low gas prices. Thie one on 3661 W. Sunshine near West Bypass seems to be using false advertising to lure customers to their store. We saw Reg at Murphy USA for $1.64 but saw Casey's sign showing Reg for $1.61. Drove to Casey's (several of their pump handles covered with yellow bags). Found one without bags pulled in ready to pump gas. Looked down - the pump price was $1.66. Went inside waited 6ft behind customers. Asked person at the register about the $, they said the price was $1.66. I said your sign says otherwise. They said Reg 88 is $1.61 & Reg is $1 66. I said if you look at your sign it says otherwise. They looked, ran somewhere and brought out a handheld device, fiddled with it then said - Well someone put in n the wrong price. I said well someone needs to fix it. They said I'm not able to change prices at the pumps (I hadn't asked them to do that). Realizing nothing was going to happen I said well someone needs to do something or someone will be guilty if false advertising. Their was they waited on the next customer behind me. We then drive back to Murphy USA where their gas was the$ they advertised. Sorry Casey's that store has made us very leery of stopping @ a...
