Chef King — Restaurant in Mobile

Walked in and placed was busy. This was my first time and figured that was good news. Age of patrons seems to range, another good sign. No health rating in sight and did not see anyone walking around grading. I started to get nervous. There was also a large area of plastic where the enterance to the back would probably be? Things have gotten weird since covid so I let it roll without much thought. I did see the cashier wash her hands before handling food. I then felt more confident about the places hygiene. Did I ask to see the health rating? No. I did look closely into the kitchen and didn't see anything too scary so I figured you gotta die some time and didn't walk out and bought the food. Upon inspection and I inspected closely since I really don't want food poisoning right now, it looks fine (bought sesame ckn combo). The taste of the ckn was soft and chewy with average to slightly below average veg. fried rice. The consistency of the ckn was sort of worrying and also had a (hot dog taste?) I don't know but after eating a few more bites didn't chance anymore of the food and felt like a pb&j would be a...

UPDATE: Since my original review, I've called almost everyday, and ive only gotten to eat their food twice. They apparently open when ever they feel like it. I drove there Friday and they were closed during business hours. This place has good food but I'm done with them. It's not THAT good!

I'm giving one star because out of the 4 times that I've tried to eat here, they only answered the phone once. Ive called within their "business hours". But the one time they answered, I ordered sesame chicken and got general tso..... but the crab ragoons...

The food is pretty good. Ive eaten there a few times. Service was fine until the last time i came in. I placed my order over the phone and when he answered all he said was "chinese" and when i got there the two guys were screaming at each other and slamming things down. That may have been the cause for my order being wrong. Also the first time i came in i went to the restroom to wash my hands and it was disgusting. There was all kinds of stuff...
