Foo, you know what you've done. I understand having to cut costs very lightly here and there to ease the transition into adding more locations, but compared to how Foo was in it's first 3-5 years, it isn't even a thought to recommend it unlike back then when everyone I knew referred their friends there and frequented the location often. My mild disappointment is based around: A) the taste of the chicken has changed from that special captivating flavor to a bland version of its former self. B) the size of the chicken. C) the remaining issues, which are rather minor when singled out, lie in the entire restaurant. The small buildings, lack of adequate parking for even a fraction of daily patrons & this last opinion is probably not as perceivable to the average customer, but all the locations feel like an out of town chain/franchise. It has no identity rooted in our city and it makes the experience feel very alienating and corporate. Having to wait in a line far too long by design or going into the store to experience the sensation of a packed concert with no buffer space between you and John Doe's family eating and a laughable attempt at ambiance. I enjoy the food, but it has lost that special dynamic that allowed Foosackley's to rise to the high-end of Mobile's "must-visit" places to eat. I only call attention to these flaws in hopes that The Foo can regain it's wondrous...
Read moreWe are from Iowa. We got a hotel and started looking up places to eat near us. Foosacklys came up a few miles away. Loved that thère menu and prices were online. We were able to call in our order for pick up with no ap. to install or anything. The employee that took our order was very nice making sure we knew which Foosacklys we were ordering from. He gave us some quick directions and the address to confirm we had it in our GPS correctly. We arrived the parking lot was packed along with the drive thru. We went in and it took about 5 minutes to pick up our order. The chicken was delicious! Kungfoo sauce we had to try after reading other reviews. Very good! We have three teenagers and we all gave our meals a 5 star!!! Would go back again...
Read moreI normally go to the Foosackly on dolphin Street but today I went to the one on airport. Now granted I’m a Foosackly nut love Foosackly’s but the two stores food was different. The chicken taste different. The food at the airport store. I couldn’t even eat it. The salad part was fine, but the chicken tasted weird. The chicken strips were thin and little, compared to the on dolphin Street location. chicken strips are huge in comparison. The crust and the flavoring on the chicken at Dauphin st. Is so good it’s addictive the airport store cannot hold a candle to the dolphin Street location. . I will not go back to the one on airport. I ate the salad and threw the chicken...
