Hong Kong Express — Restaurant in Mobile

My husband and I eat here at least once a week! I normally call it in, but here lately they NEVER answer the phone , so I just walked in to order and they didn't even acknowledge me until about 5 mins after I stood at the counter waiting to order. The lady walks up and rudely ask "What you want?" I told her I wanted to place an order and she said it would be about 30 mins. I didn't have that long to wait, which is why I always try and call first, but when they never answer what else am I supposed to do? Might I add, the lady that works there is always extremely rude. We go there because it is convenient, but after tonight I won't be back, especially if I cant get anyone on the phone to place my order ahead of time so that I don't have to wait 30-45 mins! This place needs tips on how to treat their customers! They definitely lost us as customers and we gave them a ton of business so their...

I got the General Tso Chicken today for lunch. Great portion size for lunch. It was incredibly flavorful. The chicken was perfectly fried, lightly but super crispy. The sauce was actually spicy, which was awesome because I normally ask for extra spice. The egg roll was actually the best i've had at a Chinese place in Mobile. I've lived in Daphne, Fairhope, DT Mobile, and go to West Mobile a lot. I can say now that this place is my favorite. Overall best chicken around, with sauce and egg roll. We ordered moo goo Gai pan and egg drop soup, it was wonderful but I prefer more garlic so I will ask the chef next time. It had fresh mushrooms, lots of chicken, with a white sauce! I ordered large for us to share and I was very pleased. Family business, husband, wife, son, that I saw. It’s a hole in the wall but understandable. We will be back!
